Welcome to the Rail Trail retreat. Located between mile marker 4 and 5 on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. Hop right on the Rail Trail and take a quick 4 mile stroll to the village of New Paltz! Our home is an office space remodeled into a 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath home! With a huge new kitchen made for cooking and entertaining! Or relax in the living room with huge windows and natural light while enjoying the 65” TV! The space Welcome to our charming retreat in Gardiner area! Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the Hudson Valley, our cozy Airbnb is the perfect escape for nature lovers and city dwellers alike. Location: Our property is ideally situated to offer you the best of both worlds. You’ll enjoy the tranquility of the countryside while being just a short drive away from the vibrant town of Gardiner and all the attractions the Hudson Valley has to offer. Explore local wineries, hike in the breathtaking Shawangunk Mountains, or take a scenic drive along the Hudson River. The Space: Our home is a carefully curated blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The open-concept living area boasts a cozy living room, perfect for evening hang outs, while large windows flood the space with natural light and offer stunning views of the surrounding woods. Step outside and hang out near the outdoor fireplace, where you can sip your morning coffee or stargaze in the evening. When you pull up the driveway you’ll see our beautiful brick house on the right. We do have a shared driveway so please be sure to park in the large parking area next to the brick house. You’ll have access to the entire inside of the home which welcomes you with a large kitchen, beautiful dining room, a large primary bedroom with a dedicated work space, two guest rooms each having queen beds, a gorgeous primary bathroom with heated floors, and a cozy living room! Each room has a smart TV that have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney provided by us! Bring your bikes to enjoy the Rail Trail! The entrance to the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is a short quarter mile walk down the road! Take a 4 mile bike ride to the village of New Paltz or a ~1 mile road to the village of Gardiner! Here are a few must experience things to do when visiting the area: 1. The top of our list starts with hiking in the mountains. After you pack your hiking boots, head to any one of the various mountain trails or River to Ridge trail to get some fresh air. With Minnewaska State Park located on the famous Shawangunk Ridge, it’s one of the most sought after places to visit. While hiking is free, there is a fee for parking! We recommend getting there before 9am. 2.Next on our list is Mohonk Mountain House! Known to be one of the most beautiful hotel properties in the Northeast. There are plenty of trails that you can explore on their day pass. You can also book lunch here, which will also give you access to the many trails surrounding the property. The Mohonk Preserve is New York State’s largest visitor and member-supported nature preserve. 3. Visiting local Breweries and cideries. Our favorites include Brooklyn Cider House at Twin Star Orchards, Gardiner Brewery, Kettleborough Cider House, Yard Owl Brewery, and Westwind Orchard! 5. The village of New Paltz - be sure to take a stroll around the village of New Paltz. Hit the water street market and grab a cup of coffee at Mudd Puddle while visiting local shops and amazing antique stores. MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER TO RENT Absolutely no parties! We allow pets, but please inquire about pet fee before booking! Guest access Guests have access to the entire house! Please do not wonder to the house located at the top of the hill with the shared driveway.
