The ground-floor apartment is located in a traditional thatched-roof house on a well-maintained, landscaped property in a residential street with limited traffic. Two private terraces and a private Finnish sauna make it a special retreat for a relaxing vacation for two. The special feature: You are the only guests in the house. There are no other residents and no adjacent vacation rentals with public traffic. This way, you can enjoy your stay completely undisturbed and have a private retreat for eventful as well as relaxing vacation days. Living with comfort and character The light-flooded apartment with its bright colors and warm wood tones, high-quality materials and carefully planned furnishings creates a calm, cozy atmosphere. The thatched roof provides pleasant coolness in the hot season and cozy warmth in winter. The stoneware floor with a textile look, the well-coordinated lighting and additional underfloor heating, as well as many other thoughtful details, contribute to a cozy living experience. The center of the apartment is the living area, together with the open kitchen and dining area. The living area offers a comfortable sofa with a chaise longue and a food stool, as well as an extensive selection of books with new releases, bestsellers, classics, non-fiction and illustrated books about the region, inspired by the NDR podcast "*contact info removed*". An internet-enabled 55-inch TV, a Bose streaming speaker and a wall safe are also included. The historic tiled stove from 1804, an antique Swedish grandfather clock and other lovely collectibles give the room a special atmosphere. The custom-made open kitchen is of high quality and fully equipped with an induction stove, compact oven with microwave function, hood, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, as well as a hand filter and French press. Toaster, kettle, hand blender, immersion blender and other extensive kitchen accessories complete the kitchen ensemble. Dibbern Solid Color crockery and antique silver cutlery ensure a stylishly set table. The spacious dining area with its comfortable seating furniture invites you to share meals and to linger. In the cozy bedroom, a box spring bed with a high level of sleeping comfort (160 cm x 200 cm) awaits you. The window has an insect screen. In the bright daylight shower room, underfloor heating and a towel dryer, a shower with a rainwater shower head, and a permanently installed Wi-Fi radio with power outlet create pleasant conditions for a relaxed start to the day. The wide sandy beaches are about 7 kilometers away. In Tating, you will find cafés, a cocktail bar, a country inn and restaurant, as well as a minimarket with a coffee roastery. Right in Tating is the listed Hochdorfer Garden, a historic baroque and cottage garden from 1764 with old linden tree avenues, a variety of trees and shrubs, and a café in the Schweizerhaus. Just 2 km away, the Tating Sports Park offers a wide range of leisure activities such as soccer golf, padel tennis, mini golf, a golf simulator and an indoor tennis court. The restaurant "Fenne" is part of the sports park. Tating is also an ideal base for bike tours across Eiderstedt.
