Elegant Retreat in Serene Pinezići, Krk

Villa Anna is a stunning 3 bedroom plus loft, vacation house and garden, a leisurely 10-minute walk (1 km) to some of Croatia's most magnificent beaches and coves. It is located on the island of Krk, in a small village of Pinezići. The space The house is very spacious. It features high ceilings and loft with exposed wooden beams, large living room with a comfortable sectional sofa unit, simple yet well-equipped kitchen, three private bedrooms, and a cozy loft atrium overlooking the living room for additional space and privacy. The thick stone walls keep the house cool and airy but there is separate air conditioning for infrequent heat spells. Large sliding glass doors allows easy access to the spacious limestone terrace, which stretches along the entire length of the house, includes a massive dining table and a lounge area custom-designed to seat larger groups of guests for intimate evening conversations. The terrace is surrounded by the peaceful courtyard, which includes lush plantings, palms, and olive trees for additional privacy, and a stone grill and fireplace for BBQs. There is an outdoor area for washing off sea salt or cooling down after sunbathing. Facing the house are two private parking spaces, sheltered by a plush kiwi tree. Other things to note Restaurants There are a few beach bars and restaurants just minutes away, and I can make recommendations of my favorites around the island. Groceries There is a mini-market 400 meters from the house for fresh baked goods, fruits, and supplies. Krk (9km away) or Malinska (14 km away) have larger supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, bars, pharmacies, and sports equipment stores. Beaches and activities Croatia is known for the most gorgeous and serene beaches in Europe. They are hands-down the finest! The rugged, untouched coast with its thousands of tiny islands and secluded coves and clear turquoise waters is hard to beat. The crystal clear water is surrounded by fragrant pine forests. When not swimming or sunbathing, sit by and enjoy people watching while sipping a coffee or cocktail at two local beach bar and restaurants. Apart from enjoying beautiful beaches, the surrounding area is great for road cycling and mountain biking. There are also various rugged paths for trail running and scenic hikes. Krk is regularly hosting various mountain biking races.
