Bring the whole family to this light filled period house with fabulous garden - great space with lots of room for fun. Home to a busy family our house has lots of books and toys. We love to cook and eat together at the kitchen island, and open up the bifold doors to the gorgeous patio and lawn. Listed with 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin/children’s bunk bed) but a fourth small bedroom (toddler bed) and a separate travel cot can be made available if needed. The space Ground floor: Generous entrance hall with bench and cupboards for coats and shoes. Living room has a bay window and chimney breast with opening (no wood burner yet, sorry) and alcoves either side. Large sofa, 2 armchairs and a bit TV with access to various streaming services. Downstairs WC. Open plan kitchen and dining room with 4m wide doors that lead out into the garden. Big island with cooker and 5 high stools. American fridge freezer. Extendable dining table that can comfortably accommodate 10-12. Back reception room - currently used for storage. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. Outside there is a 3x7m patio leading to a good sized lawn with established planting. Tends to get the sun from late morning and the patio gets the late afternoon/evening sun. First floor: Main bedroom at the front with super king size bed. Second bedroom with large double. Small bedroom - currently used for storage. Kids bedroom at the rear with bunk beds. Family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Guest access The 1900 sq foot spacious properly is all yours apart from the toddler room (which we will use to store some personal belongings - let us know if you’d rather use this room than one of the others) and second reception room (currently used for general storage), but you will have more than enough space! Other things to note We renovated last year so most things are new (eg. wood flooring and carpet throughout, kitchen, bathroom and WC, new heating system) and exterior walls have been insulated. We are decorating ourselves over time due to the cost of it all - hopefully you’ll see from the photos we’re getting there but it’s not quite the finished article yet, with some wood work painting to be finished etc and the bedrooms are quite basic, will have a bit more personality and furniture with time, but are clean and fresh but lack a bit of styling right now. This is reflected in the rental price During your stay, please note: - One room downstairs (the second reception room) will be accessible but not really usable as it is storing things that will eventually live in a garden shed - The smallest bedroom upstairs will be locked to keep our things out of your way.
