There's nothing cozier than an island escape, far from the city's buzz. So swing by and explore one of Bruny's most snug holiday homes. This cozy 190-square-foot tiny home features a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible single-bed couch on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a flushed toilet, hand basin, and gas heated shower. IMPORTANT NOTE: For your convenience, the toilet is connected to a septic system. All other waste (e.g. toilet paper, tampons, pads) must be disposed of in the garbage bins provided to prevent clogs. Guest access Guests can access the tiny home and surroundings, except "The Bungalow", shed and immediate areas are private. Please take note that guests are advised to stay on cleared areas & paths. Pre-orders available with 24 hrs notice: - Firewood is free for the first tub - However, additional firewood is $14 per tub and must be paid directly to the land host. - Because shopping for food and fuel on Bruny Island is limited, guests are advised to stock up before crossing to the Island at Kingston (Coles & Woolworths), Margate & Snug (IGA) Other things to note - Good mobile reception - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - No wifi is provided but reception is good if you bring a modem - No smoking allowed inside the tiny home; only in designated areas - Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving - Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsules are required for the coffee machine (available Coles & Woolworths).
