Simple and peaceful accommodation in rural surroundings. You'll stay privately and have your own area including a bathroom, toilet, shower, bedroom, dining area, gas grill, mini fridge, microwave, kettle and dishwasher. Free parking. Outdoor seating area, and a sun loung. A rack is available for drying clothes and equipment. Please note that there's no kitchen or cooking facilities. The space Small and charming accommodation for 2 people, featuring a spacious bathroom, a compact tea kitchen, and a simple dining area. Private toilet with access from the bathroom. The bedroom boasts a queen-size (160 x 200) double bed, a TV, and a couple of seating spots. The windows are equipped with blackout curtains for the bright Norwegian summer evenings. On the TV, you can stream your own content from your mobile phone or tablet, watch YouTube, and a few channels live. If you have trouble with this, feel free to ask for assistance; we're more than happy to help. It's worth mentioning that we live on the floor above, and you may hear us when we walk around. However, according to feedback from other guests, it has been quiet. We also hear very little from the lower floor to the upper floor, so you don't need to worry about keeping noise down. Enjoy your stay and make yourself at home. You'll be nestled in a rural area with lush green surroundings and minimal traffic, yet conveniently close to the hub for Preikestolen, Stavanger, or further north towards Haugesund / Bergen. If you're heading to Preikestolen, it's approximately a 20-minute drive to the parking area for the hike. To reach Stavanger, you're 20 minutes away from the city center via the world's longest underwater tunnel. Parking is free at the bus station if you'd like to take the bus to Stavanger, which is the most budget-friendly and straightforward way to get there. You can also purchase day passes for the bus if you wish to explore other areas. If you're planning a trip to Kjerag, I would recommend allocating a full day for it. Preikestolen and Stavanger can be visited in a day. For a visit to the local beach at Tau, it's just a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away. Conveniently, there are shops and eateries nearby. In the store, you'll find a variety of microwave-friendly meal options. Guest access In the garden, you have your own area right outside the housing unit. In addition, you can use the entire lawn. This is shared, but we usually only use our own terrace. Other things to note Although we have a bathtub, unfortunately we cannot open for bathing. We share the hot water with the whole household and there will be too little water for several people if we bathe. Sorry about this. In the greenhouse in the garden you can supply yourself with what is ripe, this year I have only planted basil and tomatoes. You will also find badminton in the greenhouse, you just have to play it in the garden if you wish.
