The space A quiet getaway in the middle of the rural Balinese village, a stay in the Bali House is a real pleasure. The house is a spacious home and is lying near the rice fields at the middle of a sleepy village nestled between the mountains and Bali’s northern coast. Guests to this magical space will be treated to the real Bali feeling in a relaxed tranquil environment. The house is ideal for small families searching for glimpse of village life in rural Bali or find a tranquil base, surrounded by nature, from which to explore northern Bali and the magnificent waterfalls northern Bali has to offer. The lockable room is 4x5m with a king-sized bed (fresh linen), air conditioning, closet and direct access to the stylishly tiled outdoor bathroom (covered and completely private with hot water and all modern amenities). it's perfect for a family with a small child (crib, play pen and high chair is available) The 2,5 m wide balcony is situated in front of the house and is completely covered over with adjustable blinds to offer greater privacy and protection from sun and rain. You have a comfortable and large couch from which to privately enjoy the lush and green garden. the house has a fully equipped and modern kitchen, where you can cook your meals after visiting the local market. Eat together with friends in the dedicated dining room and enjoy long nights together. The house includes wifi access. Guest access As guests of Rumah bali, you have those for yourself. Those wishing to cook might visit the charming local 'pasar' (market) (open between 4am and 7.30am) to buy fresh produce and prepare lunch or dinner in your own private kitchen. Otherwise you might wish to wander up to the village where local warungs or seek out a little more luxury from the restaurants of Singaraja, Seririt or Lovina. Alternatively, you can let us know the day before and ibu Kadek will prepare traditional cuisine for you right here in the kitchen (70,000 IDR per person; half price for children under 14). Meals are prepared with fresh local produce by Ibu kadek. Vegetarian options available. note: we charge extra for anyone above 14 years as a third guest. Other things to note Kalibukbuk is 2,5 hours from Ngurah Rai Airport and Kuta area by car. It is a lovely drive over the mountain from Buleleng and the voyage will typically cost 750,000 IDR. We strongly recommend arriving in daylight. Regrettably, Bali House are not currently wheelchair accessible and guests whose mobility is limited should be wary that you will need to climb three stairs for entering the house. We can arrange motorbike rental from the village. electricity is not included for stays longer than 3 days and is around 200.000 IDR a week with normal usage of the appliances (air conditioning only at night).
