Description
Nestled amongst the rolling hills of Bandon Grove, sits a little eco cottage awaiting your next romantic adventure. Ideal for couples seeking relaxation and connection, this retreat offers sweeping landscapes, stunning sunsets, and a peaceful setting surrounded by cows and horses by day and a star-filled sky by night. Explore stunning bush-walks and water holes that surround, or simply unwind by the crackling fire and let the charm of The Stable create memories that will last a lifetime. The space The Stable, nicknamed after its grand stable door entrance which open up to a stylish space perfect for a romantic hideaway. The cottage features a queen-sized bed, made with the finest French linen to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with an espresso machine, opens up to an outdoor BBQ and dining area— The view from the deck here is so pretty and perfect for a picturesque outdoor dining experience. Resting on our working, off-the-grid farm, The Stable is situated in its own private part of the property. Our main house sits approx 200 metres away, however your privacy is key to us and The Stable is screened off from view. It offers the convenience of phone reception without the distractions of Wi-Fi. There is so much to explore in and around our area and we hope you enjoy the scenery that surrounds you, and relish in the peace that comes from disconnecting from screens for a while. Only three hours north of Sydney, 1 and a half hours from Newcastle, our idyllic location is close to beautiful swimming spots along the Williams River, bushwalks to waterfalls and our little local town, Dungog, is definitely worth a visit and only a short 15-minute drive away if you need any amenities. It has some great cafes, shops and pubs, but it also boasts one of Australia’s longest running cinemas, the James Theatre. Dungog is also famous for its flow bike trails. If you love bike riding, you will love these, so bring your bike. I have added some photos of the cinema and the flow trails in my snaps, so if you are interested to find out what’s on when you come to visit, links to their websites are in the caption’s underneath. We look forward to sharing our beautiful farm with you when you book your next romantic adventure and any further questions don’t hesitate to ask. Guest access We are located along a 2km stretch of dirt road which sometimes has a few pot holes. It may not be suitable for extremely lowered cars - but I'm more than happy to answer any questions regarding this if you are concerned. You may also encounter some sleepy cows, wallabies or deer along this road but they will move out of the way as you approach. Other things to note We have 2 dogs on our property, both of which are extremely friendly, but i just ask that if they do pop up at The Stable, please don't feed them. I want to discourage them from being opportunists and visiting guests during their stay at meal time. We do have pretty good phone reception here, on Telstra you will still get 5G however, worth noting, Vodafone can be a bit patchy. If you are with Vodafone maybe let me know in advance and i can have some better instruction/maps out of how to get to places as you will struggle searching the internet. Electric cars may also be an issue if needing to be charged. As we are powered by solar only, i fear charging up an electric car may be a bit more than our system can handle. If you fall into this category however, don’t stress as there are charging stations in town. Registration Details PID-STRA-53465
