Private room inside the Perimeter, 285 & 85 access

Brightly lit Furnished corner Room with bath all for yourself on second floor of large private home with yard and beautiful deck. Near Northlake Mall/Tucker area, inside the perimeter, easy access to I-285 and I-85. Great if you work downtown, as you exit before 285 coming home and avoid the Gwinnett backups. Also easy access for CDC, 1.5 mi from Emory Health Care at Northlake. Only 2 miles from Mercer University. Lots of parking space. THERE IS A DESK & lamp in the room. Also large closet. The space Best suited for a professional or student. Quiet neighborhood. Absolutely no smoking, no pot, no drugs, no alcohol abuse, no pets, no dogs, no parties. a/c, gas heat, you can set the thermostat the way you want it. Limitations: no cable TV, kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Must have car as Marta is half mile away. Recommended highly for single male who travels or works outside home. Convenient to medical staff/nurses, close to Emory health at Northlake. Home is shared with two other adults: one male stays in his room mostly, one female who uses her room about 3 months a year. Each adult has their very own bathroom which is not shared with anyone. Guest access Your bedroom and bath are all yours. Nobody will enter or use them but you. You can also use the common areas mentioned here: Back deck with tables and chairs Front porch with chairs Part of kitchen to use fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and over-counter toaster oven if needed. Electric range and standard size oven also available. About the fridge: Kitchen has TWO college size refrigerators. You get your very own fridge which was purchased brand new in 2026. Has a freezer at top and fridge in bottom with shelves etc During your stay This space is more suitable for a gentleman who works away from home at an office or other workplace. Another room and bath in the home is rented to a gentleman who has been there for over a year. A third room and bath is occupied occasionally by myself. There is no sharing of bathrooms, each person has their own. All rooms and bathrooms have door locks for privacy and doors are kept shut most of the time. Most of the time there are 2 residents in the home, with little social interaction, but a lot of quiet privacy and space. IMPORTANT: Door Locks-- all rooms including all bathrooms, have modern doorknobs that have a dual function. The doorknobs have the ability to be used as door locks from the inside, to add special safety and security feature to all guests in their bedrooms as well as their bathrooms. If you do not know how to use these locks, please do not hesitate to ask and we will be happy to demonstrate. One of our previous guests did not realize that the rooms already had locks on the doors, but did not inquire about locks during her stay. Without communicating her concern during the stay, she used the lack of locks as a major complaint about her room, after she had checked out. Guests are asked to please communicate frequently during their stay and mention any concerns or questions they have. We answer texts within 24 hours. We do not know what question a guest has, unless they ask us. If something bothers you, tell us DURING your stay so we can address it, not after you have left. Thank you. You will be left alone to do what you want with your time. Parts of the house that are available to you besides your room and bathroom are the piano living room (you are encouraged to play) and the back deck with tables and chairs to relax in. Limited kitchen availability. I will be available by phone/text to answer your questions and offer suggestions of where to eat, or directions. Encouraged to use text for communication. Other things to note Communication is mostly by text, and owner is very responsive. Ask questions.
