The Rainforest Lodge

Luxurious amenities including full modern kitchen and enormous bathroom (complete with deep tub). These are just some of the features that await you at the Lodge. The space You will share the kitchen and lounge areas with your hosts, as well as the bathroom (but not at the same time of course!) The hot tub is outside and can be yours privately as well as the covered carport. The rear deck is the place to relax and enjoy the friendly local animals and you will sometimes share this space as well should you wish to mingle. Guest access You are welcome to park your vehicle right at the front door undercover in the carport. Your bedroom is at the front facing section of the house adjoining the living room, which you are also welcome to share. The open plan design of the house welcomes you into the shared kitchen for your cooking requirements and the rear deck is also available to you. The toilet is next to the bathroom, both of which are available to you. Please note, your hosts also use these facilities. During your stay Your host Gavin will be available throughout the stay, if not right there on the property with you, then just a phone call/message away. Other things to note While the main area is air-conditioned, the bedroom uses a wall mounted fan for cooling. This is sufficient in summer as Kuranda is always 4-6 degrees cooler than the surrounding climates. In winter the house and room are both cosy and warm.
