Hoopers Island was recently named the Best Little Town in MD. This is a laid back watermen community where the closest stoplight is 28 miles !! Sorry, no pets allowed. The space Views of the Chesapeake Bay through a wall of glass greets you as you enter this ADA accessible home . Filled with light, your Vitamin C levels will be quickly refueled. This cottage is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and each other and escape from the busyness of life. Come for the scenery and outdoor activities, while enjoying the comforts of a smart home! With the location being so remote, you'll probably plan to prepare most of your meals at home in our spacious chef's kitchen looking right out onto the water! Watch dolphins swim by or the cruise and container ships go by as you relax on the dock. There are kayaks, fishing poles, crab pots, and bicycles all available for your enjoyment. This is a smoke-free home. No pets allowed. Guest access The cottage and dock are private and not shared. No one will be on the property with you except perhaps Steve, the grounds keeper. You may see him mowing the lawn. If his timing is inconvenient, just ask him to come back another time. You'll have access to the garage to be able to use the bikes, corn hole and frisbee games, & fishing gear. You'll receive a private pass code after booking for easy secure access to the home. Use the telescope to check out the passing ships! We have a fire pit by the water and a gas grill for your use. Other things to note We have a brand new dock that was just rebuilt in 2024, following a storm that destroyed the last one! We also have 2 new kayaks for your enjoyment. A word of caution: the bay can become rough and dangerous quickly. Do not swim or kayak in rough conditions. Because we are so remote, we highly recommend you stop in Cambridge for groceries on your way to check in! Food Lion and Walmart are both good options. No pets allowed.
