All you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the great vibe of this special villa. The space The moment you enter Volcano loft, you will be struck by the beauty of its setting. One-of-a-kind furnishings can be found in every corner , with spectacular ceilings, cute big art chair, striking artworks combined with bold color coordination, and a large garden with a swimming pool with views out to the local rice fields. The perfect space for an escape with loved ones or friends. The 2 huge bedrooms both have king sized double beds, ensuite bathrooms, double AC units, separate lounge areas and floor to ceiling glass windows with views out to the swimming pool and lush garden outside. For families the bedrooms can be adjoining if required. Because of its high ceilings, comfortable and unique sofas, Harman Kardon bluetooth speaker, and open layout that overlooks the pool, the living room quickly becomes the favorite gathering place for friends and family. A fully equipped kitchen with everything you require to make delicious meals and drinks for six people at the dining table. The 12m swimming pool is easily long enough to swim laps, where as the cabana and elegant sun loungers are ideal to relax on after a dip in the pool. Our in-villa team will assist you with any questions or requests that may come up during your stay. They can also assist with: scooter/car rental, transportation, massage, and local knowledge and tours. Please do not hesitate to contact them during your stay. Private parking is located just next to Volcano Loft, but it is only suitable for motorbikes & scooters. If you are coming by car, please let us know and we can tell you where best to park nearby. Guest access Guests have full and exclusive access to the whole of Volcano Loft. Other things to note LOCATION Volcano Loft is your own private villa during your stay, so no space is shared with any others. The rice fields in front of the loft are working rice fields and so you may experience farmers working in the fields, and harvesting or planting the rice during your time at Volcano Loft. This is of course just natural and a great opportunity to get an insight into the life of local Balinese! As nature is integral to the loft, you may hear noises which come from insects and animals who inhabit the rice field and surroundings (frogs, chickens etc.). This is the charm of living close to nature in Ubud Bali is a humid and tropical natural environment with lots of greenery. Geckos & insects are endemic to the Island. Even though gentle pest controls are regularly operated at the villa, it is a sign of good luck to have cicaks or tokay geckos at a property - and they of course eat the insects as well! Power can be unreliable in Bali, and therefore, power cuts do occur occasionally. Kindly note that while our staff will do their best to assist, these are outside of our control. ===================== ROAD ACCESS CONDITION Volcano Loft's beautiful, secluded location with the view of the ricefields, does mean that access is not as perfect. The road access is narrow, made of limestone not asphalt, and can sometimes be muddy after a long rain, and have potholes here and there. There is also a pleasant 100 meters walk (mostly paved) by foot to reach the property if you arrive by car. Motorcycles can reach the villa directly but cars need to park on the road access due to a narrow path. As airport pick-up is included in your stay, our driver knows exactly where he is going, and will make sure you reach the villa safely. If however you are making your own way to Volcano Loft, it is essential that you contact our local villa manager Pak Gun so he can guide you to the villa. Car parking is not available at the loft, the space fits scooters only. Please also consider the access if any of your group are elderly or disabled. The bedrooms are large, and have their own lounge areas, and each have double aircons, but otherwise the villa is semi-open, and the lounge and kitchen area rely on fans and the sliding door also can be opened for a natural breeze. Ubud however is at a higher altitude than the beach areas of Bali, and so temperatures do tend to be cooler and more pleasant. ===================== Frequently Asked Questions Q: What time is check in? A: Check in is from 3 PM. If you arrive earlier, you are very welcome to drop your luggage at the villa and start exploring the neighborhood while our team prepares everything for you. Early check in may be possible depending on availability, and we will always do our best to accommodate your request, but it cannot be guaranteed in advance. Our on site team is available until 5 PM. For arrivals after 5 PM, we provide a simple and smooth self check in process so you can settle in comfortably at your own pace. Q: What time is check out? A: Check out is at 11 AM to allow our team enough time to prepare the villa beautifully for the next guests. Late check out may be available depending on the next booking schedule and must be confirmed in advance. Additional charges apply. If you need assistance with luggage storage after check out, please let us know in advance. When the villa is not immediately occupied, we are happy to help store your bags. Q: Is daily housekeeping included? A : Yes, daily housekeeping is included in your stay. To ensure your privacy and comfort, we shall do our best to arrange housekeeping at your preferred time. Simply coordinate with our local villa manager Pak Gun to schedule the service, ideally at least the day before. Housekeeping is provided once per day. Q: Is Volcano Loft staffed? Yes it is! We have a very experienced English speaking manager (Pak Gun) who is available from 9 AM to 6 PM and remains on call for emergencies. He is always happy to assist with any requests, although he does not stay on site at all times. We also have our team of regular housekeepers too. There is however no night security at Volcano Loft. Q : Can we request extra clean towels? A : In support of our eco conscious approach, towels are refreshed every three to four days. If you would like your towels replaced, please leave them on the floor and our housekeeping team will collect and change them. Towels left hanging on the racks will be considered clean and will not be replaced. If you require additional towels outside of the scheduled change, feel free to reach out to Pak Gun and he will do his best to assist. Q : What is the maximum occupancy for the villa? A : The maximum occupancy is usually 4 guests, including children, but we can accept up to 6 guests upon request. However to do so would require up to two extra beds to be rented, and so there would be an additional cost to do this. The bedrooms are huge however and so there is a lot of space for extra beds if required. Q : Is breakfast or other meals/drinks provided at the villa? Currently no meals/drinks are provided at the villa. We are however reviewing this, and will update this section if this changes. It is however easy to organise food and drink deliveries to the villa using Grab or Gojek (the Bali equivalent of Uber). Q: Can we organise massages at the villa? Yes - please speak to our local manager Pak Gun, and he will help recommend some local massage services that can come to the villa.
