With private & contactless entry you and your family can relax in the comfort & charm of this historic art deco style home complete with original moulding and stained glass. Located footsteps from beautiful Tower Grove park with a bustling farmer’s market, community yoga, and food & beer truck events! There is a queen bed in the bedroom, a full sized bed in the alcove and a futon sofa in the living room. There is a full size mattress we can add to the living room upon request. The space Parking: Street parking is abundant and available along our street. There is no off street parking available. The side entry is equipped with a Eufy keypad lock with a new code for each guest for safety and ease of access. Head up the 6 hall stairs to enter your private apartment. To the left you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a California closet, equipped with hangers & shelf space for unpacking. There are also night tables, wall sconces and over head light and ceiling fan. A desk and chair are also located in this office nook. The bedroom opens on the other side to a sunroom/mud room.The wooden blinds make for a great dark space late into the morning if you’d like to sleep in but open to wake up to a sunny St. Louis morning! The sunroom is also attached to the kitchen with a few with pots & pans for your cooking needs. Not ideal for cooking a feast but perfect for whipping up a meal. There is a gas oven/range, waffle maker, toaster & coffee maker. There is a dine in stainless steel breakfast bar with stools and a dining table for more comfortable seating. The bathroom is updated with a removable shower head & bathtub. Shampoo, conditioner & body wash are available. The toilet is water saving with #1/#2 options for flushing and the linen closet is stocked with various towels, first aid kit and cleaning supplies & toiletries should you need them. There is a hair catcher provided in the shower, please take your hair with you when you get out. There is a large dining room table perfect for family meals & large groups. There are board games in the alcove closet on the left & additional pillows and linens for your comfort. The alcove stained glass window makes a one of a kind headboard for this unique sleeping arrangement. Originally there was a Murphy bed that folded out of the closet in this same space, but it was removed when we purchased the home. The living room has a comfortable futon that is adjustable for leaning at several angles or flat completely. For parties looking for 3 separate sleeping areas, I recommend flattening the sofa then putting one full size mattress on top. The smart TV is equipped with streaming services for your chilling needs. We live on the 2nd floor and are happy to make recommendations of places to see and things to do in the area. We are also available to help with anything that you find needs attention, is broken or you’re just not sure about. We want you to have the best time in St. Louis, so if there’s something we can do to make your trip better don’t hesitate to let us know! Guest access You can enjoy all parts of the apartment. Backyard is a fenced garden that has a small patch for leashed pets to do business and 4 chairs to enjoy garden view on brick pavers. The property does not have an outdoor area for pets to be off leash. Other things to note We have a very friendly therapy dog named Saucy who would love to meet youYou may hear us going in/out with her but it’s no problem to avoid her if you’re not a dog person. To accommodate families with dogs we do have an additional kennel if you’d like to use during your stay. Heat is radiant and there are large radiators in every room that are controlled with a thermostat just outside the bathroom. The actual indoor temp is about 4-5 degrees warmer than the thermostat, so turn to 64 for it to feel about 69 degrees and adjust from there. Window AC units are available during the warmer months. On the first day of the season requiring heat, the AC units will be removed and can be placed before check-in upon request during the off season. Early check -in and late check out may be available depending on our schedule and the next booking. Early check in is $10 per hour earlier and late check out at 1pm is $30. Please inquire when booking if these are available for your stay. One block away is Tower Grove Park, which has pickle ball, tennis, and basketball courts. We have rackets and balls for each sport that you can borrow. The loop in the park is about a 5K as well.
