For entertainment enjoy free wi-fi and a smart TV for streaming your own Netflix or streaming account. The bedrooms both have brand new AH Beard mattresses with a medium to firm feel with premium support. Ive had previous guests say it's the best sleep they have ever had (and have purchased a brand new mattress from me delivered from the Australian factory to their home for well below cost). Note that only the main bedroom has airconditioning. But both do have very effective ceiling fans. Stepping outside you are immediately immersed in a suburb renowned for its village atmosphere. With neighbours in close proximity this is not accommodation for people looking to party into the night. This is strictly not a home for gatherings . For insurance purposes only registered guests are to be in the home (unless by prior arrangement). Quiet hours for outdoors are 9pm-8am. Guests that break noise/extra guests rules will unfortunately have their booking cancelled immediately without a refund. 2. The home is not suitable for children or guests with mobility limitations due to the bedrooms being upstairs and bathroom downstairs. 3. There is no parking on the premises. There is street parking but can be challenging on Saturday evenings but you will find a spot within 5 minute walk of the home. Please note that while it is free in some spots it may be timed. With transport so close you wont need a car. :-) 4. The second bedroom has louvered windows with a blind that overlook the dining area so doesn't offer the full noise privacy a standard walled bedroom has. Note that this bedroom doesn’t have an airconditioning unit but has an effective ceiling fan. 5. The home is very compact. Photos may make the rooms look bigger than in reality. 6. There is a security camera facing the street. It is motion operated. 7. No illegal activities will be tolerated. 8. Please also note that while there are no pets on the premises for your visit there has been pets in the premisis previously so may not be suitable for people with allergies. 9. Australia is well known for its diverse wildlife. Some are cute and welcome and others maybe not so welcome. All homes across Sydney, especially in the central suburbs will have wildlife at close proximity. This may mean a cute possum running across the roof one night, or if there is a lot of rain, occasional mosquitos, and in peak summer there may be some fly's where you may need to adopt the “Aussie Wave” ;-). On very rare occasions there may be a wandering friendly huntsman, while large, they are actually friends and eat mosquitos. This is all a normal part of Australian living. If you are phobic of bugs and other wildlife I would strongly recommend not visiting Australia as you will come across a critter or two during your visit while wandering though the city, going to the beaches or walking around the neighbourhood. On rare occasions one may find its way inside the home. We have supplied bug spray to combat any unwanted intruders. This is a note to advise that finding a bug in the home is not grounds for a refund or cancellation. It is a normal Australian experience. If there are concerns we highly recommend booking a high level apartment (though they will still get cockroaches flying in. ) 10. We have a firm cancellation policy. I recommend travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations or long flight delays. Usually your credit card has travel insurance included if you use this card to book.
