Description

Meet Avocado on Toast! Our cute 1973 13 foot Boler has recently been given a new lease on life. Avo’s hobbies include gardening, reading in nature and making insta reels for the world to share. He’s a bit flashy when you first meet him, but inside he’s full of comfort and charm. Avo’s new features include a bar size fridge, electrical outlet to charge your phone and beautiful live edge countertop. He’s has limited resources but aims to please for a quick stay or a couple days of relaxation. The space This sweet little glamping boler sits just at the entrance to our property at Pembees Gardens, just off the driveway and beside a pond. **Please take note that the only bathroom facilities are a portable toilet just behind the Boler. There is no shower. Avo now has running water to the sink, but no cooking facilities. There is a new bar fridge, kettle, French press and a 4 litre jug of water in the boler that can be refilled when needed. We advise to bring pre-prepared foods as we provide dishes and cutlery. There is also tea and coffee in the Boler for you to enjoy. Avocado is parked about 20 metres from our home and faces our barn and parking area. This is a great spot to to rest your head for the night or a few days while exploring the area. The bed is considered a double, but is fairly small, two people are quite cozy! The nightly price reflects the limited amenities. Feel free to explore our property while you’re here, our beehives and chickens are behind the barn, and we have ducks in the garden up by our house if you’d like to meet them. In our barn we have a craft market that is occasionally open on weekends and we sometimes hold special events there. If you’d like a peek at our market space just let us know and we’d be happy to open it up for you! We also offer a "Be a Beekeeper" experience and info session where we provide you with a protective suit to tour our hive yard to learn the basics of beekeeping when we open up the hives and have a look inside. We also have fresh sourdough loaves available for $7 and a half dozen eggs to take with you for $3, just give us 24 hours notice. Please message us for more details! Guest access Please note that we have 2 dogs who will likely bark when you come to the house, we keep them closed off but they will probably be there to greet you! Feel free to explore the property and gardens, just watch out for the electrical fence around the bee yard! Other things to note This is a great option that’s a step up from tenting. Our vintage 1973 boler is 13 feet from end to end and although it has a “double” bed, it’s definitely cozy for two people. Pre-prepared foods are advised as there is a bar fridge and kettle, but no way to heat up or cook anything. There is absolutely no smoking on the property.
