Springfield is a traditional 2 bedroom (1 king, 1 twin room), 1 bathroom Lakeland cottage with a large, modern kitchen/dinning room and a comfortable sitting room with wood-burning stove. There's off road parking for one car, Wifi and a lovely garden. It has been renovated in recent years maintaining character and adding high quality modern touches. It's a short, level walk to the centre of Staveley village- with pubs, shops, a brewery and artisan bakery. The space There's a small front garden with parking space and an oak porch takes you into the cottage. Off the hallway is a comfortable sitting room with large window, plenty of seating, TV and wood burning stove. To the rear of the house is a large, light and modern, well-equiped kitchen and dinning room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven and a lovely spacious feel. In the heated cellar room you will find the washing machine and freezer and plenty of space to dry clothes and boots after a long day in the hills! From the kitchen 5 steps lead to the rear seating area and beyond that, to the lovely cottage garden. The garden has a lawned area, additional seating and lovely flower borders. Upstairs there's a large bedroom with king-size bed, a lovely twin bedroom and a superb bathroom, with bath, separate shower, WC and basin. There’s an off road parking space at the front of the cottage. There’s also parking on the road outside the property, free of parking restrictions and usually plenty of space. One well behaved dog is welcome at Springfield, please double check if you’d like to bring more. We ask that dogs remain downstairs. Guest access You'll have sole access to Springfield and its garden during your stay. Other things to note Springfield is professionally cleaned before your stay. We provide hotel-standard bed linen, a bath towel and hand towel per person, bathmat, tea towels, oven gloves, washing up liquid, washing up sponge, hand soap and some dishwasher tablets.
