It's a 2 minute walk to Morrison Beach where you can spot sea lions or just enjoy the view. The ferry terminal for Stewart Island is only a short walk away, as is 4 Square supermarket, restaurant, takeaway's and pubs. Foveaux Walkway & Stirling Point is also walkable or a 2 min drive. The space Nautical Nest is a newly renovated 1950's property with original features. The accommodation is a 116m2 two bedroom, self contained unit with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The spacious bedrooms each have a king bed and a single bed, blackout curtains and storage. A fixed wall heater will keep you cosy and warm in cold weather, and one of the rooms also has a TV with Freeview channels. The fully air-conditioned open-plan living area has a full kitchen and lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge, oven, induction cooktop, and everything you could need to cook anything you desire. Basic pantry items are included - salt/pepper, oil, soy sauce, sauces, cling wrap, alfoil and dish washing detergent. Tea, Coffee and sugar are also provided. The seating area has 2 comfortable couches, large screen TV with Freeview channels and DVD player with lots of movies. You will also find puzzles, games, guides on NZ flora & fauna, and info on the local area and attractions. Binoculars for bird spotting are also included - we have resident Tui's who sing regularly in the backyard trees! The modern bathroom has a large shower, heated towel rail, heat lamp and fan heater to keep you toasty warm. Welcome toiletries like body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided. There is a separate room with toilet and handbasin. The laundry has a large commercial washer & dryer for your use. You will also find yoga mats, backyard games, beach umbrella & toys. All towels and bed linen are provided for your stay. Just bring your suitcase, unpack and enjoy!
