Description
In the heart of the Dee Valley, 5 minute walk from the World Heritage site, Pontecysyllte Aqueduct/canal; & Tower Hill Barns wedding venue; 4 mile canal walk/cycle to Llangollen & 6 miles from Wrexham. The apartment, skirted by a babbling brook, forms the top floor of a converted stable. Detached from but next to our Victorian home. Many pleasant walks & close to Offas Dyke path. Also good for cycling, running, kayaking. Next to bus stop for Llangollen/Wrexham. A dog friendly, quiet spot The space The accommodation has one bedroom (with a double bed), and an en suite, semi screened, shower/sink area. There is also an open plan kitchen, dining and living area and a separate WC. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric cooker/hob, and cooking essentials. There is also a small dining table and chairs. The accommodation is accessed up a flight of external metal stairs. We have books, board games, a T.V. and a radio in the accommodation. The accommodation comfortably sleeps 2 people, however the living room sofa converts into a small double bed which would suit one adult or two children. Please do note that whilst the accommodation does sleep up to 4 people, it might feel small for more than two adults. The sofa bed is in the open plan kitchen/living space; the shower is in the bedroom, it is screened off but with no door; the separate WC is off the living area (see the layout photo for more information). We love dogs and are happy to accommodate them, for a small fee, where possible, however, please do check before booking. (and please note, we don’t allow dogs to be left alone in the accommodation unless they are crated for short periods). We live in the main house close by and will be happy to help you with any queries when we can; however, you will be afforded complete privacy during your stay. Beneath the accommodation is a ground floor garage, which is used only for storage. WIFI We do have wifi but being in the Welsh Countryside it can occasionally be a little temperamental. Therefore our property may not be suitable for you if you require high speed or strong wifi. We have a spaniel cross dog called Bella who lives in the main house with us. You shouldn’t come across her as we keep her out of the way of guests but, if you do for any reason please bear in mind that she is anxious around people that she does not know. Next door have a black Labrador dog called Dave. You might see him in his back garden. He is a big softie! Guest access You will have sole use of the entire accommodation, including off-road parking. Access to the accommodation via a key safe. Other things to note Unfortunately, as the access is up a flight of stairs, there is no alternative access for anyone with mobility difficulties.
