Queen bed in master, comfortable twin bunk beds in tiny second bedroom (adults ok in bunks if less than ~180lb). Bonus playroom/office. Well-stocked kitchen and laundry. Level 2 electric car charging outlet (NEMA 14-50). Well behaved pets ok. Cozy and private cottage in the redwoods all to itself. Feel surrounded by nature, but still walking distance to Trinidad. I grew up in the area but work in Silicon Valley. We purchased the house in 2006 as a summer place to bring our young daughters so they could visit grandparents and family. We have so many fond memories of our summers here. We still love to visit the cottage and now want you to create special memories here as well! Ideally setup for a couple with 1 or 2 kids. Not guaranteed child-safe for very young children, need to be safe in bunk bed as well Access to main house, 1 acre lawn, redwood grove and 1 acre forest to explore. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, hair drier, iron and board, wifi, pack-n-play, kettle style BBQ. I am remote, but the house cleaner could be reached if need be. Quiet country lane. In a bit of a sun belt (by Humboldt standards) since often just out of the low fog bank. Easy access to beaches, hikes and town. Nice walk to Murphy's Market in Trinidad. Central access to redwood parks to the north, towns to the south and beaches/Trinidad just down the lane. Privacy from neighbors. Check-in/out times are often flexible depending on other bookings.
