Whip up delicious meals in a newly renovated chef’s kitchen with gas range plus pot filler, double ovens, warming drawers, and many built-ins and high-end appliances--then enjoy them at the large rustic farm table. Or if you prefer, barbecue on your Weber grill and enjoy your meal on the three-tiered cedar deck. Just behind the house is a large fire pit with tree stump seating and access to a private trail leading to the back of the property. Down the hill and easily accessible is a newly constructed cabin with natural wood siding and chic steel railings. Inside, sunlight pours in from the skylights and large windows. In the basement, a bonus game room includes table tennis, foosball, and classic arcade games. Outside is a large deck with access to a separate fire pit below. Every bedroom has a high-quality king-sized mattress and bedding, and a large 4k smart TV. If you need to get some work done or take a Zoom meeting, you will have high-speed 1 Gbps internet. This will direct you to a quarter-mile-long driveway. Along the driveway, you will pass a lumber mill on your right. At this point, you are officially on the property. You will have access to the full Farmhouse, as well as the land and private trails. There is a Cabin on the property that is also an active rental. For maximum privacy, tt is situated at the bottom of the hill. The Farmhouse has a parking area for 4 cars and keyless entry. You will get a pin code for the door before check-in. Other things to note * This peaceful haven is at the end of a long (1/4-mile) gravel driveway that winds through the woods, over slopes, and around curves. You will enjoy quiet, privacy, and your own trails. Please exercise care on the driveway. * This property is off a VERY QUIET dead-end road. Even though it is on 10+ acres, sound travels very easily. Please be mindful of noise. LOUD PARTIES ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. No screaming, loud laughing, or amplified music after sunset. This rental is for quiet groups that come to the mountains to relax, rest, and enjoy nature. Quiet hours are from 10 pm - 8 am. * Vacationing in the woods is great for the soul... but not for cell-phone service. Thankfully, almost all smart phones have a "WIFI CALLING" feature. This must be turned on unless you relish being "off the grid." * PETS: Certain dogs (no cats) are allowed. Please message us to find out if we can accommodate your dog. NOTE: DOGS MUST SLEEP IN THEIR OWN DOG BED/CRATE AND BE TRAINED TO STAY OFF FURNITURE AND OUT OF BEDS. If your pet is used to being on the furniture at home, please do not book with us. We need to be mindful of guests who may have allergies, and having pets on furniture/beds can create health issues for guests. * You may encounter wildlife. Please be careful driving, as the deer can be bold. Also there are black bears in the area, so NEVER LEAVE FOOD OR DRINK UNATTENDED OUTSIDE or they might pay you a visit. *IN SNOWY OR ICY WEATHER, THE DRIVEWAY REQUIRES AN SUV/4-WHEEL DRIVE. The surrounding roads and long narrow driveway are hilly. However, they are typically well-plowed. (Depending on the circumstances, driveway plowing is done early in the morning or shortly after it stops snowing.)
