The property, which was once a stable, has been renovated in a rustic style, while maintaining the true essence of the shepherds' houses. Inside you will find a charming atmosphere, with a fireplace, built-in kitchen, and handmade furnishings. From the bedroom window, the marble quarries are shown in all their beauty. Outside is a relaxation area The space Once you have parked your car in the parking lot below, you will be accompanied to the cabin, the ancient stone walls, the woods all around, the patio with barbecue and deckchairs, but above all the beautiful view of the marble quarries. Once you enter, there will be a living area with a dining table, a masonry kitchen with a stove, fridge and antique marble sink, a fireplace that is important for winter or autumn periods to warm up or even to cook something on the grill. The walls are the original brick and lime stone, exactly the same as the old barn. The bathroom is small but there is a shower with hot water, towels, toilet and sink. Through a wooden staircase you can access the sleeping area, which was added in the renovation with brick walls and wooden roof with chestnut beams from our forest. Through the window of the room you can admire the marble quarries and the surrounding village. There will also be a desk, a rustic sofa and a very comfortable bed that will make you sleep and have beautiful dreams entertained by the sounds of the forest and nature. Outside, you will find a relaxation area with sun loungers to enjoy the sun, and a coffee table with a masonry barbecue with the possibility of having lunches or dinners outdoors while enjoying the sunset. All the space around the cabin, including the woods, is at your disposal. In the village, a 5-minute walk away, you can find a bar/tobacconist, a laundry, a pharmacy, and a well-stocked bakery where you can buy wines, cheeses, pasta, bread, and other things. In the surrounding areas, there are many attractions: starting from the Cinque Terre, which can be reached in 30 minutes by train, to Mount Sagro, 1950 meters high, with the valley of the Campocecina meadows, where you can relax in the cool air and enjoy a mountain lunch at the "Belvedere" restaurant. The sea is only 10 minutes away. There are free beaches and bathrooms with the possibility of booking an umbrella and deckchairs in Marina di Carrara. With a few more minutes on the road, you can reach the Ligurian coast, with its beautiful spots of blue sea and steep coasts with green vegetation. With another 15 minutes by car, you can access a wonderful river, a mountain basin that flows between the rocks and vegetation, in the city of Massa. In short, a pleasant break from the world.
