Cottage Akaiyane is located in a quiet forest near Lake Yamanaka.  14-minute drive from Lake Yamanaka Interchange, 10-minute walk from the highway bus "Nadaka-so-mae - Bugaku-so-mae" Cottage Akaiyane: 12-minute walk to Lake Yamanaka Designed and built by an architect about 50 years ago for his parents, this cottage is about 85 square meters in size. The interior is decorated with antiques specially selected by the interior designer, custom-made furniture, and British-made lighting to create an extraordinary space.  You can enjoy a barbecue (for a separate fee) in the 330-square-meter garden that you can see from the bright and spacious bedroom.  Renovated in 2020, the toilet, washroom, shower booth, and washing machine were replaced and newly installed. In 2024, two air conditioners were added to the loft. One air conditioner is installed in the Japanese-style room on the first floor. The interior is lit with British-made lighting fixtures. The vintage furniture is in pristine condition and matches the good old Japanese house. * Because it is an old mountain villa (Cottage), insects may enter the house. (Insecticides and insect repellents are available) * In April 2025, we added a covered outdoor BBQ space The space The 1st floor has a 6 tatami mat Japanese-style room (2 single futons), a living and dining room with a large window facing the terrace, a toilet, a washroom, a shower booth, and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a refrigerator, IH cooker, rice cooker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, dishes, cutlery, etc. Upstairs there is a loft-style bedroom with 1 double bed and 4 single beds. We also provide a free portable baby bed. You can enjoy a barbecue in the 100 tsubo garden that you can see from the bright and spacious bedroom (charged, reservation required) The cottage has free wifi (optical line) and a comfortable teleworking environment. Internet TV and DVD player (Blu-ray available) are also provided so you can enjoy YouTube, etc. We also have a variety of free rental DVDs, board games, and card games. Amenities include: - Bath towels (for the number of guests) - Face towels (for the number of guests) - Slippers Shampoo Conditioner - Body soap are available. We appreciate your understanding that the smell is not due to mold or poor cleaning. Also, access to the hotel is difficult to understand. Detailed directions are provided in the check-in manual with photos, so please be sure to check before coming to the inn. You can also enjoy BBQ as an option at the inn! ● The price is 6,000 yen for up to 6 people, and 1,000 yen per person thereafter. ● Cancellations on the day are not accepted. If the number of people in your reservation changes, please be sure to contact us at least one day in advance. ● The BBQ fee includes a barbecue stove, gas tank, 2 camping chairs, tarp (2m x 2m), cooler box, tongs, trash bags, paper plates, disposable cups, and chopsticks. ● In case of rain, you will need to set up the tarp tent yourself. ● Please fold the tarp tent and return it to its original place after use, as it will be damaged by the weight of the rain.
