Corsican house

It's a family home. In the middle of the maquis. It is not bordered by the road, so it's ideal for children. The river is about a 5-minute walk away. You will find simple comfort (3 bedrooms), and rustic charm. A typical Corsican house, with thick walls, with no neighbors. It is located a few hundred meters from the hiking trails (Tra mare e monti). Bordered by dry stone gardens and surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. A peaceful place. Simply. The space A small house in the maquis, a few minutes' walk from the Fango River, where you can swim in summer. The house has a small terrace and a private garden. It is located at the top of the hamlet of Tuarelli, in the municipality of Manso, 12 km from Galeria (seaside - beaches), 25 km from Calvi Airport and 30 km from Calvi. It's a house with simple comfort. For lovers of wild nature, hikers, athletes, or dreamers who love calm... no road noise here. The space You have 3 beautiful bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a toilet. In one of the bedrooms, there is a bathroom with shower and sink. It accommodates up to 6 people. The terrace allows you to have lunch or dinner outside. If we are there, we occupy the other part of the house. As I specify, it is a simple comfort, without superlative: here, no wifi, the internet network is quite unstable, no air conditioning, nor XXL freezer. The toilets are outside. No TV either. It's just you, and the mountain outside. No neighbors (the nearest house is about 100 meters away...). Natural location You are in the Fango Valley, classified MAB (Man and Biosphere), right in the Corsica Regional Natural Park. It is a rich and fragile natural area. Raise your head and admire the centuries-old olive trees in the middle of the maquis. Take the path that borders the house. A few meters away, you are in the old village, where there are remains of stone houses. Nature surrounds you: you can meet the wildlife that lives here (birds, mammals, invertebrates...). Mountain lovers, put on your tennis shoes and take one of the hiking trails near here. Guest access You have independent access to: 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a shower room, a living room, toilets, a terrace and a garden. There is plenty of room to park one or two vehicles 20 meters from the house. The house is not hard to find if you follow my directions. It is not in a village, because it is an isolated house in nature. Other things to note Linens and towels are provided. Both upstairs bedrooms are accessible via a staircase. Infants or very young children can sleep in the parents' room on the ground floor. Rooms have a front door but no window. The rooms do not communicate with each other (it is a traditional village house). All entrances are equipped with a mosquito net. It's a house surrounded by nature, so we're surrounded by the maquis and we can see or hear animals from the maquis. If you don't like nature, it's best to avoid coming. In the kitchen, you have access to a kettle, a coffee machine (remember to bring Nespresso pods), a toaster, a fridge with freezer section, dishes, a washing machine, a water heater, a gas stove.
