Bedrooms 1 & 2: - Queen size beds - fresh linen supplied, plus extra pillows if needed - Built-in wardrobes - includes clothes hangers and drawers for extra storage - Comfort features - Ceiling fans and portable heaters for year round comfort - Entertainment - Bedroom 1 (nearest to the front door) has a small TV with access to free to air channels - Mirrors - A full-length mirror in Bedroom 1 is perfect for getting ready for special occasions, while Bedroom 2 features a stylish arch mirror. Media room: - Fold out queen size sofa bed in media room will be automatically prepared for groups of 5 or more. For groups of 4 or fewer, please request that it be made up in advance of your stay if required - Newly installed reverse cycle air conditioner for comfort all year round - Large smart TV equipped with streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ & Stan - DVD player and a selection of DVDs, conveniently stored in the entertainment unit - A dedicated workspace for remote working with a desk, chair, and lamp - Free Wi-Fi is included - A variety of board and card games, including Hunter Valley Monopoly addition :) Open plan living & dining area: - Newly installed reverse cycle air conditioner for comfort all year round - Ceiling fan in living/dining space - Dining table setting for 4 people. Extra two chairs (fold out) in wardrobe of bedroom 2 - Large smart TV equipped with streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ & Stan - Free Wi-fi for all guests during your stay. Kitchen: - Newly renovated kitchen - Set up with full sized fridge, microwave, oven, 5 burner gas cooktop, utensils, cutlery, crockery, wine and champagne glasses, decanter, kettle, coffee machine, Nespresso milk frother, toaster, blender, sandwich press, children's cutlery/plates and bowls and dishwasher - Coffee pods, instant coffee, tea, sugar and some condiments supplied also - USB-A and USB-C charging cables **Please clean the milk frother immediately after use to prevent residue buildup. Bathrooms: - Main bathroom: shower over bath, toilet, vanity and mirror. **Please note**: if you are wanting to use the bath, the bath plug is located in the drawer of the vanity - 2nd bathroom (and laundry combined): shower, toilet, vanity and mirror - Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is supplied in both bathrooms. Laundry: - Facilities include washing machine, dryer, clothes hanger, iron and ironing board - Laundry detergent and stain remover supplied - Outdoor clothes line (near outdoor deck). For families: - Families are more than welcome! Anzac Place is perfect for travellers with children (we LOVE bringing our kids here for holidays!) - Our home features kid friendly amenities, such as fold out portacot, high chair, baby monitor and other goodies. Please let us know if you have a little one joining you, so we can provide these upon request at no extra cost. Large outdoor deck and backyard: - Outdoor undercover deck with 3 seater and 2 seater outdoor setting plus coffee tables - Wine barrel with x2 tall stools - Large outdoor ceiling fan and outdoor ceiling heater for those cooler months - Large fully enclosed backyard - Children's swing hanging from one of the large trees at the back of the property and large children’s trampoline. We ask that you please supervise your children at all times while using the swing and trampoline. **Please note** that use of the trampoline and swing is at your own risk and guests are advised to follow the safety precautions as listed on the front of the trampoline. Children must be supervised at all times while using the trampoline or swing. By using the trampoline or swing, guests acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their safety and the safety of any children in their group. What's close by: - Centrally located in Cessnock, only a short drive to the local supermarkets (Woolworths, Coles, BWS, BIG W, Target, Aldi, IGA etc) and numerous great cafes and pubs - Various parks, skateparks and walking trails - 10 minute drive to some of the amazing local wineries and restaurants! - 30 minute drive to the stunning Broke-Fordwich pocket of Australia's oldest wine-making region. Broke is know for having some of the best boutique and sustainable wineries in the area, as well as World Heritage-listed wilderness (for those who love an adventure) and ancient Aboriginal rock art. Guest access Guests will have full access to the house and yard, with the exception of the front sunroom, the tall cupboard in the laundry and the garage, which are all locked. The driveway can fit 1-2 cars, and there's also ample street parking nearby. The area around the garage can be tight for larger vehicles, so we recommend parking at the front of the house for easier access. If you choose to park on the property, please use the concrete driveway and avoid parking or driving on the grass. Check-in is completely contactless. The front door is equipped with an automatic lock, and your host Natasha will send you a unique access code the day before your arrival. Check-in and check-out times may be flexible depending on other bookings. Please reach out if you'd like to inquire, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request! Other things to note - While our home offers a wonderful space for spending quality time with family and friends, we kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties, events or large gatherings. We have lovely neighbours that we do not want to disturb :) - No third party bookings allowed (guests booking the property must be the guests staying). Please make sure the only guests who stay overnight are those listed in your reservation. - During the warmer months and evenings, you may notice an increase in flies and mosquitoes in the area. We recommend keeping the front and back fly screen doors closed to help keep these bugs outside. There is insect repellent if needed under the laundry sink. - Please note we have a strict 'No Pets' policy. Please do not book our property if you are intending on visiting with a pet. An additional fee of $200 will be charged if the no-pet policy is not followed. - Smoking is not permitted inside the house or on the property. We kindly ask that you respect this policy to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests. - Exterior security cameras that record both audio and video are installed on the property. They monitor the driveway, back door, front gate, and the East facing side of the house. The front door Smartlock camera activates when the doorbell is pressed. - Our backyard features a children’s trampoline. Please note that use of the trampoline is at your own risk and guests are to follow the safety precautions as listed on the front of the trampoline. Children must be supervised at all times while using the trampoline. By using the trampoline, guests acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their safety and the safety of any children in their group. - Please report any repairs or issues with the property to the host as soon as possible.
