The town of Madalena do Mar has a mild climate all year round. The average sea water temperature during the summer months is 22°C. Casa da Praia da Madalena do Mar has two floors: - Floor 0 consists of a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. - Floor 1 consists of two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds) and a bathroom. The outdoor spaces of the house are ideal for relaxing outdoors: you can have your meals and relax in the patio on the ground floor and sunbathe on the balcony on the 1st floor while listening to the sound of the sea. Other things to note The nearest supermarket to Madalena do Mar Beach House - “Amanhecer” - is located in the neighboring town - Ponta do Sol -, about 5 minutes by car. Unfortunately, the public transport network in Madalena do Mar is very poorly developed, so it is recommended that all guests who decide to stay at Carmen's House choose to rent a car, so that they can move freely and without constraints throughout the island. As of September 1, 2024, the municipality of Ponta do Sol (of which the parish of Madalena do Mar is a part) will apply a municipal tourist tax of €2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights.
