Welcome to Wonderwood, your Nashville retro-dreamscape! We've curated a very stylish and special home, where every room is uniquely themed to transport you to another exciting dimension. Don't worry - you'll still be just a 5 minute ride from downtown. *Seven minutes by car to Broadway *Five minutes by car to Germantown *Ten minutes by car to the Gulch, Music Row, 12 South, and the Parthenon *Fifteen minutes by car to the BNA airport The space We are located in Nashville's historic Jefferson Street music district, once home to Jimi Hendrix, who lived and played a few blocks away. We have tried to honor the musical spirit of the neighborhood by filling this house with instruments, including an upright piano, acoustic guitar, and record player with a small vintage record collection. Feel free to make some music during your stay - you're in Nashville, after all! Our midcentury-style living room offers plenty of seating around an electric fireplace, as well as a smart TV. We've also supplied a bluetooth karaoke machine, so that you can warm up for your Nashville debut performance on Broadway. This house features a spacious, 50's diner-style kitchen, with all updated appliances, milkshake maker, bar seating, mini jukebox, and remote controlled party lights (this kitchen is for dancing!). Our queen bedroom, the “Peace & Love Room”, is 1960’s inspired, and features a cozy queen with romantic lighting. Enjoy the large closet, makeup vanity desk, and wall-mounted smart TV. This room also hosts an 8-track player with original 8-track cassettes for all you retro music geeks. This room also offers access to the large, fenced backyard. In our double bedroom, “That ‘70s Room”, you will find two full-size beds, along with an assortment of vintage items including a lava lamp, disco ball, shag rugs, bead curtain, and a working VCR player, with a collection of 70's era VHS tapes (Grease fans??). Both bedrooms are outfitted with stylish blackout curtains, in case you need to sleep in. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub/shower, fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. We also provide a hairdryer, as well as various hygiene products. In the hallway, there is a washer/dryer, an iron, and an ironing board. Every room has a charging port, with cables for all devices. This home is equipped with three outdoor security cameras, a keyless entry system, and a driveway for off-street parking. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, as well as the back yard.
