Cosy Cottage with Beautiful Garden, HotTub & Sauna

Welcome to our newly renovated cosy period cottage in the middle of the beautiful Kent countryside. We look forward to having you stay and enjoy the surrounding Garden of England as much as we do. Whether you choose to relax in our Spa or go for a lengthy hike around Bewl Water, Dodges Cottage is perfect for family and friend retreats alike. The space This beautiful 250 year old cottage is situated between the village of Marden and Goudhurst and still retains many of its original period features. However, it has been fully renovated with a brand new kitchen, new bathrooms and a brand new Spa area with a Scandinavian wood-burning hot-tub and sauna. There is also a large outdoor space which is south facing and perfect for year-round BBQs. Superfast Wifi is available throughout the cottage and garden. Bedrooms: - 4 x Double bedrooms in the main house + 1 Double Bedroom located in an external Annex. - Bedding will be provided. Bathrooms: - 2 x Bathrooms both with shower/baths in the main house on the first floor. - There is also an outdoor toilet + sink in the garden. - Please note that the bedroom in the Annex is in an external building and doesn't have it's own bathroom. Those staying in this room would need to use the bathrooms in the main house or the outside toilet (which is only around 10m away). - There is also an outdoor shower in the Spa area which should be used only when using the Hot-Tub and Sauna. - Towels will be provided. Kitchen: - Fully equipped kitchen with a Gas hob and electric fan oven + grill. Standard amenities are included such as a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine (Nespresso). We will provide a few coffee pods but please bring your own if desired! - Fridge/Freezer - Extendable dining table + chairs Utility room: - Washing Machine - Clothes Horse provided - Iron + Ironing Board - please do not leave Irons unattended when in use. Dining room: - Separate to the kitchen/diner - Large extendable dining table + chairs - perfect for your big family meals. Living room: - 2 Large sofas + Arm chair - HD Smart TV - feel free to log into your own Netflix etc. Garden & Spa Area: - Scandinavian Wood-burning Hot-Tub + Sauna. - Please see manual upon arrival for further details on how to use. - There are 2 BBQs available for use - one is by the house and one is by the Spa area. Both are Gas BBQs. - There is also a drinks fridge in the Spa area and preparation space for your BBQs. - Outdoor lounge furniture and table/chairs will be available for use if required. Please mention when booking so this can be arranged. If you are coming from London there are no taxis from Marden station, however taxis are more available from Paddock Wood station.
