The Wilo's in York

A compact but modern, airy space with plenty of light and everything you need for a comfortable stay in the beautiful historic city of York. Fully self-contained with oven and Hob, fridge-freezer, sink and counter-top eating space. Comfortable sofa with a TV in the living room/kitchen and a separate bedroom. Guests can request a double bed or 2 small singles, as required (if no preference is given we will make up a double bed). Separate wet-room with w/c, power shower and sink. The space Whether you're here for a reunion, the Races, to do some shopping, to immerse yourself in the history and sight-seeing or just to chill-out in a quiet space, you’ll enjoy The Wilo's. Your mini home-from-home is ideally located in a residential suburb of York, less than fifteen minutes away from the Centre. Finished to a high standard, you will find we have tried to think of everything. There is tiled flooring with under-floor heating throughout, zoned for maximum temperature control. French doors from the bedroom provide light and access to a small, sunny rear courtyard area. Bus stop is less than one minutes walk and provides access to the Centre of York and all areas around York. Taxi from York station is around £7 and bus is around £3. Guest access Guests will have the complete space to themselves. The Wilo's is made up of an open-plan kitchen/sitting room, a wet-room/wc, and a separate bedroom, all on one level with flat access across all internal doorways. The front of the property provides off-street parking and the rear provides a small courtyard for the private use of The Wilo's guests, an ideal spot to eat breakfast, enjoy afternoon tea or just chill out. A picket fence includes a gate to provide access to the main garden where guests are very welcome, if they want a bit more space. Other things to note Breakfast is not provided. However, I will always make sure the essentials (tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc), are provided, so that you can at least make a hot drink! You also have the cooking facilities to make meals and there is a Tesco Extra less than 15 minutes walk away, with takeaways and The Quaker Wood pub (that serves meals) in the same place. There is an excellent cafe (Phill Ya Boots) only a five minutes walk, where you can enjoy amazing food and a lovely vibe. The breakfast is highly recommended. The property is only a 15 minute walk from the excellent York Racecourse (even quicker if driving).
