Tranquility Base

Tranquility Base is a newly built home offered for the first time for short term rental. The owners have lovingly decorated for maximum comfort and family togetherness. Bring up to 6 people and up to two fur-babies to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The space Tranquility Base is a newly built home with a “king bed” suite, a second room with a King bed and a third with a two double beds, providing sleeping for up to 6 people. The home provides modern style and luxury. This dog friendly. Amenities include full sized washer/dryer, breakfast bar, coffee maker, high-speed WIFI, flat screen smart TVs in all bedrooms. Kitchen: The new kitchen features GE stainless steel appliances a custom blue/grey tile backsplash that is reminiscent of the waves. This well stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook during your trip! The kitchen has a bar top with 4 stools that opens to the dining area. Dining/Living Room: The dining table seats 6. It is in between the kitchen Island with 4 stools and the living room area. The living room as a large sectional with chaise and two accent chairs. Porches: The covered front porch and screened side porch have an outdoor seating area with outdoor sofa and chairs perfect for a little outdoor reading with a glass of wine. The back porch is not covered and is a great spot to sunbathe while the kids are napping. The back porch has two Adirondack chairs and one sun lounger. Laundry: The laundry closet is just off of the kitchen and has a full sized Whirlpool washer and dryer. Master Bedroom: The master bedroom has a King bed and bedside tables with built in charging stations. The Roku smart tv is setup for watching cable through the Spectrum app or watch your streaming services. The master bedroom has an en-ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and custom tiled standup shower. Second Bedroom: The second bedroom has king sized bed and side tables with built in charging stations. Third Bedroom: The third bedroom has two twin beds perfect for the kids and some children's books for bedtime stories. The twin room also has a Roku smart tv that you can use to watch your streaming services or you can use the Spectrum app to watch our cable service. Ground Level Hangout Under the Home: Dining table and sofas are a great place to unwind after a day at the beach. The fully enclosed outdoor shower allows you to leave the sand downstairs too! Guest access The whole home is yours during your stay. Sometimes our yard team comes by without letting us know but they are quick and don't disturb our guests when they are here. Once you fill out our checkin form, our system will generate your custom lock code and I will email it to you 2 days before your arrival around 4pm. Other things to note Pet fees are $200 and include a max of 2 dogs. You will have a starter set of paper products, it isn't meant to be enough for your whole stay, just enough to keep you from having to run out when you get here. Due to stories of people putting things in salt/pepper/oil that aren't supposed to be there, we do not provide any spices and we ask our housekeepers to remove them from the home if they are left. Bath towels and sheets in the cleaning fee. They will be delivered to the home and will be bagged upon arrival. The beds will not be made so please plan accordingly. Oak Island has begun charging for parking at the beach access (you can walk from here so don't need to park), but if you decide you would like to drive to a beach access, look for the signs that allow for parking payment through a qr code, link or call. In your confirmation email, we sent you a link to your checkin form. Once the form is completed our system will be able to generate you custom lock code. The code goes live at 4pm on your checkin day and times out at 10am on your checkout day.
