On The Doorstep of Dartmoor With a Log Burner

Enjoy peace & tranquillity at this quaint cosy cottage. Take a leisurely walk along the quiet private lane which takes you onto the heathers of Dartmoor. Visit the stannary town of Ashburton with its’ cafes, delicatessens, Michelin star restaurant and an eclectic mix of independent shops. Whatever your pleasure come home to real country coziness as you gather some logs from the log store to light the log burner. Snuggle down with a good book or a film before you enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. The space Ivy Cottage is situated adjacent to the farm house with its own private entrance, fenced garden and own parking space. The cottage is upside down, the bedrooms are downstairs and the kitchen, bathroom and lounge/diner are upstairs. The main bedroom is cozy with a king size bed and plenty of wardrobe/storage space. Being a narrow room there is only a small space between the end of the bed and the wall. The second bedroom has bunk beds and wardrobe/cupboard storage. Upstairs is a fully fitted kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave and a view over the garden. The newly fitted bathroom has a large shower. The lounge diner has a three seater sofa bed, table and chairs, TV and wood burning fire. A unique, peaceful haven surrounded by farmland within Dartmoor National Park. The moors and its wild open spaces and Tors are only a 1/2 mile walk away. The main A38 running through Devon and Cornwall is only a short drive away taking you to our local cities of Plymouth and Exeter and further afield to the beautiful cities of Bristol and Bath Other things to note From time to time there will be tractors and horses in the yard near the cottage, and although the garden is fenced please keep dogs and children under good control. Please don't leave your dog alone in the cottage.
