Spacious two bedroom apartment with great Kachemak Bay views located in a quiet neighborhood just outside of Homer city limits. This rental has a beautifully updated chef’s kitchen with an open concept living space. The unit includes one bathroom, two bedrooms with queen sized beds, laundry, large sunny deck, big lawn, outdoor fire pit, and is nearby many amenities and attractions. This bright and open home offers an open concept living space and beautifully updated chef’s kitchen. The bedrooms are located on either end of a hallway where the full bathroom is located. The bathroom features a large tiled shower, double vanity sinks and tons of storage. The bathroom has a shower only and is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. The bedrooms both have ample closet space with drawers built in. Extra pillows and blankets can be found in both bedroom closets. Both bedrooms and living room are equipped with blackout window curtains or blinds to darken the sleeping and lounging areas. The open concept living space includes the kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry room. There is a sliding patio door that leads onto a covered porch where there is a two seat dinette table. A large deck with another seating area is off the covered porch area. There is also a sliding patio door that leads to the deck from one of the bedrooms. The dining room features seating for up to six when utilizing the bench found behind the couch. The stairs off the deck lead to the lawn and fire pit area. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, filters, sugar, cream, tea, honey, salt, pepper, basic spices and oils. There are books, games, cards and a smart roku tv available for use in the living space. There is a fire with some firewood provided. Please bring extra if you plan to use the fire pit often during your stay. Comfortably accommodates four guests. The property has two other rental units downstairs. All units share a common entry way and each have their own separate locked entry doors. The outdoor areas are shared, including the yard, fire pit and driveway. There are two parking spaces included with the unit. Please only park in spots designated for Unit #1 and avoid blocking spaces for the other units. Within walking distance to the Canyon Rim Trail (also known as Bear Canyon Trail)! The trailhead is located .3 miles away from the house. Detailed information including maps can be found at the house in the welcome booklet. Guests have full access to the upstairs unit of the home, lawn, firepit and driveway areas. Please be respectful of the downstairs units. Located on Bear Creek Drive in Kachemak City. The property is located outside of city limits but is only two miles from downtown Homer. The neighborhood includes hiking trails, community playground and a winery all on Bear Creek Drive. Bear Creek Drive is located off of East End Road which has a paved bike path that goes to downtown Homer or several miles further out East End Road that lead to a close by grocery store, convenience store, liquor store, bar, coffee shop and several restaurants. There are two free designated parking spaces included with the unit. Getting around the neighborhood can be done by car, bike or foot. The home is located 2 miles from downtown Homer and 8.5 miles from the popular tourist destinations on the Homer Spit. Getting around Homer is most convenient by car if visiting the Homer Spit but can also be biked/walked. There is a paved bike path that runs the length of the spit. Entrance: The apartment shares a common entry way with all three units in the property. Each has its own secured door with a unit specific passcode. Water: The house has delivered potable water. Please use respectfully as it serves the entire property and is expensive to have delivered.
