Very quiet artist’s studio in the building where Modigliani and Kisling lived. Right in the heart of Montparnasse, 4 minutes from the Jardin du Luxembourg, next to Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 2 km from the Louvre Museum, the Musée d’Orsay and the Seine. On the ground floor, a large, 6-metre-high room with a large window opening onto the garden (not accessible) and a courtyard: living/dining room/kitchen, separate WC and a very comfortable 1.30-metre sofa bed. On the mezzanine – 160 cm bed, view of the greenery, en-suite shower. Brand new – fully equipped The space The studio consists of a large and pleasant living/dining room with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen on the ground floor, and separate toilet as well as a cool and quiet bedroom with shower room on the mezzanine. Very large canopy. The apartment has access to a small inner courtyard with a table and folding chairs for an outdoor breakfast - Washing machine - Clothesline - Dishwasher. - Normal oven - Microwave oven. - Nespresso machine, capsule, tea, jam... - kettle, fruit press, - - fridge, - dishes, cooking utensils, - hair dryer, soap and shampoo... - Linens and towels provided - Fan - small ironing board - vacuum cleaner - small outdoor table with chairs Guest access Building with a code. A locked door (at the top of the stairs) separates the two spaces, which I open when the children are there. The toilet with washbasin (and, behind it, the washing machine) are in the downstairs room. The sofa bed is extremely comfortable and easy to use. There are about fifteen steps to reach the mezzanine, which has a very high ceiling (3 metres) and a very thick glass partition that allows you to see the trees and plenty of greenery from the bed.
