You will be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, etc. Activities: Laon is a medieval town, nicknamed Belle Ile en Terre (Beautiful Island on Land) by Victor Hugo, or the Carcassonne of the North, and also "La montagne couronnée" (The Crowned Mountain). The house is at the foot of the hill, the plateau, surrounded by 8 km of intact ramparts, which can be reached directly by a footpath in 15 minutes. The old town, behind its ramparts, has many ancient monuments. These can be explored on foot, by bike, by bus, etc. Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park in front of the accommodation in a private, enclosed space.
