The outer area is well lit and has a private entrance. The property is on a maintained gravel road which does not require 4WD but one should use a low gear and keep up speed on the uphill approach. Hosts drive it daily (Honda Accord and Suburu) with no difficulty. You will enjoy the comforts of home simultaneous with looking out your window into the woods. It is the ultimate “Goldilocks right amount” experience. Guest house, adjacent fairy garden with mountain and sunset views, hiking trails. Guests share driveway and parking with host. Guests asked to bring only one car. Hosts live on property and are available for inquiries. Sugar Hollow is the home of Hickory Nut Gap Farm and nearby Flying Cloud Farm. The vibrant community is teeming with wildlife and domesticated farm life, ensconced in mountain beauty. Hiking opportunities range from easy walking paths to challenging mountain trails. Prize winning local breweries and several excellent local eateries are nearby or Asheville offers a smorgasbord of good eats and entertainment. Beautiful views are abundant in Fairview. Fairview is somewhat rural, although it is not geographically distant from the Asheville area. A vehicle is necessary because Uber or public transportation are not reliable for our area. The AVL airport is a pastoral twenty five minute drive . Queen bed with organic bedding. Sleeper sofa in living room folds out to a double bed with an organic latex pad for sleeping. Comfortable but not large. One adult or two small children.
