Located in a small port town of Sanuki City, Kagawa, this cozy guest house offers you a calm space to treat yourself. “Umi no Toshokan (Library of the Sea)'' is an old traditional Japanese house that has been renovated into a guest house combined with a private library, situated within a short distance to one of Japan’s Top 100 beaches. Here, you could immerse yourself in a sea of books, and you could also take them to the nearby beach (a 1-min walk from the place) and enjoy your time there. The space Three types of rooms are available in this guest house(entirely reserved). Room 135 This room is a single room with a loft. The number, 136, represents the classification of books. 1: philosophy and religion 3: social sciences 6: industries Room 257 This room is a double room with a bunk bed. The number, 257, represents the classification of books. 2: history, biography, and geography 5: technology 7: arts and sports Room 489 This room is a triple room with one double and two single beds. The number, 489, represents the classification of books. 4: natural sciences 8: languages 9: literature In all the three rooms, we placed some recommended books form these categories above. You also have access to the whole books in the library. Other things to note Other Things To Note ・This guest house has a shower room but it is so old that we recommend using a public bath which is named “Qua-park Tsuda”. ・This guest house is smoking free. ・We’re strict about keeping noise level low after 21:00 so all the guests can get their rest.
