Mini farm near Hwy I84- lower unit: Corbett, OR

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space with quick access to I-84. We are just 12 minutes to Gresham but have the feeling of being secluded. The unit has a private entrance in the back lower level of our home. It includes a separate BR, living area w/ gas fireplace, dining table w full kitchen. Our miniature donkey, llamas, chickens and a sheep have been relocated to our daughter's home due to our upcoming move. No Pets. The space There is a private bedroom with a desk, armoire, dresser, nightstands, double bed and a TV with Roku. The main room is an open space with three main sections: a kitchen /dining area with electric stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker; a gas stove/fireplace in the living area and a twin sized bed in the corner. There is an old family piano with a television and apple TV on top. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity as well as the washer and dryer for the entire home. (for those asking to stay more than 2-3 days we will need to make arrangements to complete our laundry.) Guest access This is in the lower part of our home with access from the back with a private entry. There is a wood chip trail that leads to the unit (this may be difficult for walkers and rolling suit cases) and a small patio table and chairs. There is a keypad entry of which you will be given a code shortly before arrival. There is ample parking for our guest but we do ask that the sidewalk and pull through are not blocked after loading and unloading. Other things to note We offer the basic breakfast options including granola bars, oatmeal and coffee. (Rod has been known for making desserts but due to the fact that we are preparing to move most of our cooking supplies have been packed up.) We have a ceiling fan in the main room and a portable fan that can be moved about the unit for your comfort. The unit does have AC that is controlled by the upper unit. Just let us know if it needs to be adjusted. The winters can bring winds up to 70-90 miles per hour. A great place to experience both the sunsets and gorge winds is Vista House at Crown Point which is located up the Historic Columbia River Hwy about 2 miles East of our place. Please be aware that the TV does not have cable. We have Roku in the bedroom and an Apple TV in the main room.
