Guesthouse in Sandpoint

We have a 2 bedroom apartment available in a large log home that is split into 2 units. The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. Access to the master is through the room with the kitchennete and bunk bed. The private entrance is via the deck where you can come and go as you please. The house is 7 minutes outside of Sandpoint and 10 min from the base of Schweitzer mountain and park and ride lot. The property is forested and is also home to a few friendly dogs The space This private 2 room apartment is part of a large log house that has been divided. The master room is completely private with its own en-suite bathroom. It has a queen bed and closet. Access to the master is through the entrance room. The entrance room has a bunk bed-full bottom and single top. This bunkbed fits 1 adult or 2 kids on the bottom and 1 kid on the top. We do not recommend trying to put 3 adult sized people in the bunkbed as it’s too tight. **Note: the bunkbed will be replaced with a sleeper sofa on Feb 22 and no longer available. This room also has a small kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, microwave, cooktops, coffee maker(k-cup) and kitchen essentials such as pots, pans and dishes. There is a small foldout wooden table you can setup inside if needed. Each room comes with keys so you can lock your valuables up while you are out and about. The deck where the entrances to both units is a shared space. We do have a few dogs who run around the property and home ( but not in the bedrooms). If you love dogs then I’m sure you get plenty of cuddles or games of fetch if you want. If you do not want them in your space, simply close the door. Guests will also have access to the majority of the yards and can also take nice walks up the road. There is plenty of room for kids to play in the snow and explore the property. The house can only be accessed via a small set of steps onto the deck. There is only 5 steps, so can easily bring your belongings in, but anyone with a disability or trouble using stairs needs to use caution. We do not have a Washer and Dryer that is accessible from the 2 rooms, but if you need to do a load of laundry we most likely can arrange that with my mother who lives on property. Guest access Guests will have access to the main level of the house where the rooms are located. The 2 bedrooms have their own access door via the Brown door to the far right on the deck. You will have to go up 5 stairs to access the front door to the house. Once inside there are no stairs. Other things to note We do have dogs, so guests with allergies are not recommended. This house is also more rustic in the sense that we do not have a large TV or cable. There is internet to stream on your own devices and a small flat screen in the Queen bed room. We encourage our guests to spend time enjoying the outdoors and numerous activities and also engaging in person to person interactions and not on the mobile devices.
