A great choice for a city centre stag-do for up to 19 people. The location is fantastically convenient - only 20 minutes walk to Cardiff city centre with its array of bars, clubs and shops. The ‘student union’ themed building has a hot tub and outside social area, while inside the spacious ground floor offers a TV, a fully loaded games room and a freetoplay games room. Lots of extra space including five bedrooms, two toilet/shower rooms, a downstairs toilet and a small kitchen/dining room The space A large Victorian building with outdoor area and hot tub. On the ground floor you have a very large open plan TV and games room, with two large corner sofas (sofa beds). There is table tennis, air hockey, 6ft pool table and a darts board. There is also an arcade machine room with Street Fighter II, 4 player Blitz, Pacman, Space Invaders and a 2 player console with over 300 retro games. On the same floor there is a bar area with fridges and a sink, and a toilet. There is also access to the outside space including hot tub and patio table. On the first floor there are four bedrooms with bunk beds, a small kitchen with small dining table and corner sofa (sofa bed) and two shower rooms with toilets. There is a paid public car park at the back of the building but book a space early to avoid disappointment. Other things to note Please enter the correct amount of guests in the booking as this changes the price by £25 (plus airbnb fee) per person per night up to 16 people. There is no additional amount after 16. The kitchen has a stove and a two ring hob but is not designed for large scale cooking. The building was previously used as an office which means there is plenty of space and has a student union / youth club feel. The finishes and fittings are themed to reflect this. It’s designed for big gatherings and parties so furniture and fittings will have wear and tear as a result! Arcade Games Machines They don’t need coins to play. Hot tub The hot tub and garden should not be used after 11pm. Do not stand on the lid. They are £350 to replace. We test the water quality of the tub twice a day. If inappropriate use of the tub has resulted in the deterioration of the water quality then we may have to pump out the water and re-fill it with clean water. This means it may take up to 20 hours for the water temperature to get up to 35 degrees. Examples of inappropriate use of the water would include pouring drinks in the water, putting food in the water and wearing fake tan in the water. In the summer, when the ground water temperature is higher the heating up period after refilling will be shorter. Your safety is our highest priority so please make sure your guests follow the rules. HOT TUB SAFETY RULES. ■ ·Keep your head above water at all times. ■ ·Remember 15 minutes is the maximum recommended time to spend in the hot tub at any one time. Please cool off before getting back into the water. ■ ·No jumping in or diving. ■ ·Use only PLASTIC drinks glasses and bottles – no real glass should be used near or in the hot tub. ■ Keep soap and sun lotion out of the hot tub. ■ Children and other users who cannot keep their faces out of the water should not use the hot tub. ■ Under 4 year olds should not use the hot tub. ■ Under 8 year old children should not use a hot tub which is hotter than their body temperature (37C). ■ Children must be supervised at all times. ■ Do not exceed the number of bathers specified which is 6 ■ Hot tub should not be used after a heavy meal or while under the influence of alcohol or sedatives ■ Pregnant women, and those suffering from heart or circulation problems; fits; or who are immunocompromised must seek medical advice before use. ■ Please replace the cover after using the hot tub to keep it warm.
