Description

Wardan is Aboriginal for 'the sea' Upon entry to our place your view is guided to the ocean. You'll be greeted by the beautiful sunrise each morning, a magical way to start your day. With dolphins and seals as your neighbours you'll make forever memories in our place. Whale watching season is October to May and you couldn't be in a better spot. A perfectly positioned peaceful apartment, just moments to the heart of Cronulla. Wardan features secure parking and private beach access. The space We are a small block of 8 units and have a friendly and respectful relationship with our neighbours. Our apartment is on the first floor and accessible by a small flight of stairs. We've created a space with our love of retro design at the forefront alongside durable and sustainable collectors pieces, ensuring we are eco and waste conscious throughout our home. We've designed a cool laidback vibe with our young family in mind, featuring a colour scheme that we see just outside in the ocean and the sky. We hope you enjoy our space as much as we do. When you enter our place you walk straight into the large open plan living area which has ocean views from all of the windows. It has marble floors through out and is single story. Recently painted and refurbished. -The balcony is the place to be with comfortable luxury beanbags and loungers to take in the insane views and relax whilst listening to the ocean. -The dining area seats 6 with comfortable Parker dining chairs, with each diner having an ocean view. -Our 1970's Uniroyal cream sofa in our lounge area was chosen as it's able to be configured into single chairs so we can take in the view and move around based on our needs. -We have a full kitchen with dishwasher, induction stove top and oven. Everything you need is available to ensure your stay is comfortable including cleaning items. There is a breakfast bar for 2 which is also a great workspace. -There is a laundry room off the kitchen with a washer and dryer available for your stay, including laundry liquids. -We've split the living area into 2 spaces, one for lounging and staring at the ocean and the other as a TV area away from the views. The TV area features a comfortable leather Parker sofa and chair and a large Samsung Frame TV. *Beanbags and chairs can be moved around our place to suit your needs*. -The living areas feature area rugs and ceiling fans for your comfort. All of our furniture is chosen for durability being a beachside property with young children. The bedrooms/bathrooms are at the side/front of the apartment block and all feature fitted wardrobes and reverse aircon. There is new mattresses, luxury bedding, toiletries and towels through out. -The Queen room is at the side of the building and benefits from ocean views (whilst in bed) as well as a large en suite with double sink, ample storage and a shower and toilet. You can hear the ocean from this room which can lull you to sleep. There's a large bathroom opposite this room with a bath, shower and sink. The second toilet is next door to this in a seperate room. -The King room is at the front of the apartment building which is very quiet. This room is laid out for your comfort with luxury linens and artwork. -The King Single room is next door and has been set up as the smaller room for children or adults dependent on your group. Our place is big enough to get some peace and quiet on your own, whilst being close enough to keep an ear on your little ones. Private beach access from the front of the apartment block down the stairs to the rock pools and ocean. Important information: -Covered parking is available onsite in our downstairs garage but restricted to 1.9m. Regular car/suv can fit -We do not charge extra for cleaning but do expect guests to treat our place with respect and as they would their own. -We are pet friendly with small non shedding pets in their own baskets who do not have separation or anxiety issues. There is pet stay fee of $100 charged. If your pet is likely to bark when left alone please do not leave in the apartment as this will disturb our neighbours who work from home. Beach access is down a steep set of outdoor stairs. We provide essential cleaning supplies for your convenience during your stay, including: Floor cleaner Dishwasher liquid Hand-wash Kitchen cleaner Glass cleaner Toilet cleaner Please do not throw away any of the bottles, even if they appear empty — we refill and reuse them as part of our effort to reduce waste.
