Lake views surround the plot from three directions, so your own peace is guaranteed in Pirttiniemi. A rowboat and a canoe are at your disposal. Private waterfront log cabin and sauna near Helsinki on your own peninsula. Wood burning hot tub (Palju) as well. Enjoy nature at its purest and pick berries or hop in the boat to cruise our quiet lake. Kids have a playhouse. Grill and chill on the porch as the sun sets. The space There is a new electric borehole in the yard, where you can get fresh drinking water and washing water for the sauna with a hose. Running water does not come inside the cottage. The sauna and the masonry pot are heated with wood, which can be found on the plot and is included in the rent. Rowboat and canoe available for guests. The yard also has plenty of parking space, a garden, lawns, and access to the woods right from the corner of the house. In the yard there is a maintenance building with a storage room and a composting bin, as well as a children's playhouse. The burning toilet and wardrobe are in a separate room in the cottage, which can be accessed via the terrace or from another bedroom. The kitchen of the cottage is modern and newly renovated, and there you will find everything you need for cooking. Outdoors, cooking is possible on a gas grill or at a campfire on the beach. The living room of the cottage is spacious and there is a new large sofa that can accommodate the whole family to sit in the evening. From the edge of the coffee table you can see the lake views. The living room has an air heat pump. There are two small bedrooms in the cottage. The other has a double bed of 160x200cm. The other bedroom has a bunk bed with a lower bed of 120x200cm and an upper bed of 90x200cm. The living room sofa bed is 160 cm wide. The equipment also includes 8 pillows, blankets, cotton and linen bed linen. Cotton towels (7 pcs). You can also bring your own bed linen/towels if you wish. The cottage is a wonderful place to enjoy the tranquility of nature with your loved ones, family or friends. However, we also want to respect the peace of the lake neighbors and the idyllic setting of Pirttiniemi, so the place is not suitable for celebrations. Drill well/ new well on premises, which provides endless delicious fresh drinking and bathing water by push of a button. NOTE: NO running water inside the cabin or sauna. Hot water heated with firewood in a large sauna cauldron (Muuripata). Water in it stays hot for bathing, etc. for 12 hours. Firewood provided. Two small bedrooms. Nice size living room, small completely renovated kitchen. Gas grill outside for guests to use as well. The cabin has a separate room with a wardrobe cabinet and an incinerating toilet. Another updated composting toilet is in the maintenance building. Very comfortable brand new beds and bedding. 160 cm wide queen size bed in bedroom 1. Bunk bed in bedroom 2: 120 cm wide lower bed and 90 cm wide upper bed. Comfy pull out queen sofa-bed 160 cm wide in living-room. 8 pillows, blankets provided. Cotton, flannel, and linen sheets. 7 Cotton towels. Guests may bring their own bed linens and towels if they wish. We are very relaxed and want you to have a fabulous time at our cottage, but please, no parties. The cabin is great for honeymooners, quiet family get-aways, or friends wishing to experience the calm of Finnish nature. We have a few neighbors and they are far away. We simply wish to remain very respectful of their right to enjoy the peace and quiet of this breathtakingly beautiful lake as well. Guest access The entire place. Other things to note Please note that you must start a fire underneath the sauna water cauldron (muuripata) in order to have hot water for daily consumption. Water inside the cauldron stays warm over 12 hours as long as the wooden lid stays on. Sauna itself has a stove which is heated by firewood. Firewood is free and already at the cottage.
