The main, double bedroom is huge, has a suitably large double bed and has a south facing view over parkland with 160 year old specimen trees. There is a small, integrated kitchen with a microwave, fridge and sink. Adjacent is another smaller double room with the similar, south facing magnificent views. The large bathroom consists of a double basin, a large bath and a power shower with hot water heated from an ecologically friendly wood chip boiler. Guest access It is a self contained flat with its own entrance and parking. Park by small gate and walk through into the magnificent rose garden. The door to the Retory is immediately is to your left. Enter the house and walk up the flight of stairs to the apartment. Other things to note Norton Curlieu provides a unique experience for those wishing to get away to enjoy moments in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. To one side are gardens with exuberant rose and perennial blooms, on the other a view of Warwicks's celebrated collegiate church 3 miles away which contains some of the UK's finest church monuments having been spared by the Puritans. The town also boasts a famous historic Castle visited by Elizabeth 1 and the oldest medieval building in England, The Lord Leycester hospital which has been recently restored to true medieval architectural standards and is now open to the public. Stratford on Avon is 7 miles in the opposite direction where the renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre will entertain you. Stratford also provides a myriad of shops, restaurants, a range of historic buildings and a magnificent canal barge tour along the river Avon.
