Description

Located in the multicultural heart of East Vancouver, 1912 Edwardian inhabited by two artists for the past 25 years. The two floors (1500 sq. ft.) feature a fully-furnished, recently renovated kitchen, a master bedroom with a good quality queen-size bed, a second bedroom/office with a fold-out daybed/double-bed. Natural-fiber linens, kitchen equipment (masticating juicer, Kitchen Aid blender, pots, pans, etc.) a washer/dryer in the basement. WiFi throughout the house. The space Regarding wifi speed: Download Speed Up to 75 Mbps/Upload Up to 7.5 Mbps. There is also a large library of books about contemporary art, theory and literature, a lush garden in back, a covered south-facing front porch, portable Bose bluetooth speaker, a flatscreen TV (upon request) , Weber bbq, and a somewhat out of tune piano. No laminate flooring nor “expressive” touches of purple décor! This is a real house lived-in for most of the academic year, it has ample parking in front and is located between Main Street and Commercial Drive, two blocks from the Stanley Park #19 downtown bus and a fifteen-minute walk to the Broadway Skytrain station. The neighbourhood is safe, quiet, friendly and diverse, near parks and two blocks from Kingsway restaurants ( 7 minute walk to Pallet Coffee, 4 minutes to Green Lemongrass, 5 minutes to House of Dosas and Dosa Factory, 13 minutes to Matchstick Coffee, Faux Bourgeoise, Sal y Limon and Poquitos). Guest access to front and back door. This is a home residence and we are seeking clean, quiet guests who would like to spend a relaxing and enjoyable time in one of Vancouver's great neighbourhoods. LGBTQ positive! Owner lives in basement. Please tell us a bit about yourself when you request to rent. Guest access Your space will be the main and top floor levels of the house. There is guest access to the front door and back door. On sunny days you are welcome to lounge in the back garden, or on the front porch. Other things to note Because of Covid 19 as well as the normal thorough cleaning we are currently usually leaving 48 hours between bookings . Coffee is stovetop espresso, french press, and aeropress.
