Details
Traveling on a budget? Park In the grassy lot near the power pole or upright silo or for the quietest spot, beside the southwest corner post. I will leave a 110 cord out for your use. Tents, RVs or rustic campers welcome. No facilities. It’s only a parking spot. Enjoy! Trash can go in the upright silo. Ample distance from the dirt road and the highway to provide good sleeping. Ask me before making a campfire. It is possible. No parties. Noise curfew after 10pm respect the neighbors. In the country, two miles off of I-70, behind the limestone house, and next to the silo. Very scenic view of the sunset. Campsite is outdoors you will encounter insects and will be exposed to the weather. Park on the rocks near the machine shed or in the grass next to the machine shed or in a pinch you might want to park in the shed. Campsite is on grass lot, very open space. You will be exposed to insects and the weather. I live catty corner from this property and can assist you with whatever matter arises. Just ask. Late night travelers need to stop in Abilene or Salina for gas/groceries. Solomon does have a small grocery store and a Dollar General but no gasoline. You have lots of options as to where to park. Just send me a message if you have questions or concerns. My sheepdog runs back-and-forth but is very friendly and a bit shy. I do try to put him in my backyard across the street when you are staying the night outside but you might remind me. He does bark at shadows all night long.
