Welcome to Sandford Views. A lovely getaway spot for anyone who loves the beach, bushwalking, biking and birdwatching. You can enjoy peace and quiet and listen to nature. The best part of our property is that we are only 400m walk to the Mortimer Bay Beach and Tangara trail from the property. You can also spot the famous Aurora Australis in only a 10 minute drive at Goat Bluff Lookout. Local cafes, pub and supermarkets are only a few minutes away. The space A modern, recently renovated self-contained unit provides a peaceful and quiet space if you are looking for a good time away from the city. Our house is next to the unit, but we are happy to keep out of your way. You will have your own space and everything that you need for your stay. **Please note that the main bedroom includes a queen bed and bathroom. A fold-out sofa bed is available in the living room for the 3rd person only. Please add the 3rd person on your booking if you would like to use the sofa bed. We are happy for guests to walk around our 2.5 acres property excluding the main house and back yard. Sandford is a 30 minute drive from the Hobart CBD, and 25 minutes from the Hobart Airport. Guest access You can access the unit through the front gate. We will provide you a gate code prior to your arrival date. Other things to note There are many activities to enjoy in the area. You can go for walks and bike rides, as we are located on the Tangara Trail and close to Mortimer Bay Beach. Clifton Beach is well-known for surfing and swimming. Additionally, you can take a drive to explore the beautiful Opossum Bay area. Wildlife such as wallabies, possums, and various native birds can often be seen around the property.
