Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This mid-century modern home is on a private pond with acres to explore. Perfect home to get away from it all but still be less than 10 minutes to groceries and the charming town of Monroe with all its great restaurants and shops. The kitchen was just redone and is fully equipped. There are three bedrooms. The main has a king bed. One room is full over full bunkbed with twin trundle. Other room is twin over full bunkbed with twin trundle. There are three indoor lounging areas with two tvs. We have also included board games. There is a separate office (with the coolest wall of signatures). The back porch has dining and seating. Outside is a dock and grill area with 8 acres to explore. It is a very private home with no neighbors in sight (although noise does travel on water so not a great place for all night parties since there are neighbors that are not in view). Please be aware it is a cabin. Nicer than camping obviously but you are in the woods and it is an older home. Main house has central but the bedrooms have window units. You have access to the whole home except an owner's closet in the main bedroom. This is a very private home not in a neighborhood. Parking is easy. It is a gravel driveway. There are not any stores in walking distance so a car or uber would be necesarry. Our kids fish and swim in the pond but obviously both those are done at your own risk.
