The space At the end of a private lane you will find this peaceful cottage surrounded by picturesque 3 acres of park like setting woods and shimmering waters. Trimmed trails to have your morning walk or evening in the woods around warm fire pit , fruit-bearing orchard for a treat and constantly changing tides and views of Flat River/Gascoigne Cove/Northumberland Strait shore. Flat River is one of unique places when at low tide it exposes river/ocean bottom with famous PEI red south shore sand. At high tide it fills up with warm ocean water for enjoyable swim or canoeing. During the day the water level changes dramatically and gives you opportunity to walk on the river bottom and explore white sand bars where the river meets the ocean. Swim or walk, dig clams and mussels, watch eagles and meet seals. Beside the cottage there is an old heritage site/cemetery of first settlers on the island. Minutes away from Belfast Highlands Greens Golf Course, Coopers Red and White Store, Point Prim Light House, Point Prim Chowder House, Bar Vela Pizzeria, Country Taste Kitchen and Bakery, Wood Islands Market and the Wood Islands Ferry!
