The birds in the area are amazing, sand hill cranes stop here as they migrate, bald eagles, loons, ospreys, waterfowl and even an occasional golden eagle. The cottage has three bedrooms, a full size kitchen, two bathrooms (downstairs is a full bath, upstairs is a half bath, as the tub is not for use at this time)!, a dining room, sitting room with table and an all purpose room with a fold away bed and room for the children to play board games, color or paint. Fully fenced in backyard with great views of the wetland that the Hogback splits. There is a fire pit as well as a charcoal grill for your use The entire house and yard are yours to use and enjoy while staying here, you will have the house and yard to yourselves If you have questions or anything needs our attention we live only 5 miles away Please just let us know how we can help The property is out of town with no houses within 1/4 mile. We would not suggest this as a good fit for small children 2. From mid-October until early December due to the lake and wetlands nearby, there are likely to be duck hunters out hunting and you will hear them shooting (this is noted for individuals with PTSD or for people that are not fond of hunting) thank you.
