Welcome to peaceful RiverSong Retreat. Your home from home on 5 acres of pristine land, surrounded by mountains and the Kauaeranga River. Walk the Pinnacles, soak in the spa, relax and unwind with friends and family, enjoy the sounds of nature. Private river access a short walk from the house invites you to take a plunge and wash away your worries. A perfect base to explore the stunning tracks of the Kauaeranga Valley only a short drive further up the valley. The space Thoughtfully appointed, RiverSong Retreat has plenty of space for 10 guests with every comfort catered for. We believe a good night's sleep is part of your holiday so expect top quality medium-firm beds with pillow top and super fresh linen. Relax on the huge comfy corner couch for movie nights, or wine by the fire in winter. There's also a separate 2nd lounge area facing the mountains, perfect to retreat to with a book. RiverSong has two bathrooms, each with toilet, shower & basin. Bedroom configuration (all bedrooms have built-in wardrobes) Bedroom 1 - Super King bed Bedroom 2 - Queen bed Bedroom 3 - 2 x King Single beds Bedroom 4 - 4 x King Single bunk beds BYO pantry items apart from salt & pepper. Guest access Full, exclusive access to the house. Shared access to much of the 5 acre property. We live in the studio at the back but keep to ourselves unless you need anything. The river is a short stroll down the driveway & across the lower paddock. The barn behind the house, garden sheds and lower paddock (unless accessing the river) are not available. Other things to note The property has a self-contained studio at the back of the house. This is where the owners live, as well as a young Border Collie/Huntaway puppy Bella, and 2 cats Rakaia & Rio. Rakaia likes to visit the house guests, please let us know if you don't want him to bother you. Bella is on leash and we will make sure she doesn't visit you. Your peace and privacy is important to us, but we are on hand should you need anything.
