The Tall City Cottage

Cute and comfortable studio cottage! We have the perfect spot in the Tall City for quick vacations, family getaways, or long-term corporate travel. Great location right off the loop and just a short drive from downtown. High speed WiFi, workspace, stocked kitchenette, reverse osmosis drinking water, mini-split AC & heating, and a shared patio and backyard space. The space Our guest house is located in our spacious backyard and was recently completely renovated! Brand new luxury vinyl flooring throughout, vaulted ceiling, memory foam bed, updated bathroom with subway tile shower, & mini gourmet kitchen. Kitchenette includes pots and pans, plates and bowls of various sizes, glasses and mugs, utensils, a cutting board, mini Keurig coffee maker, tea pot, tea and coffee, 2-burner gas stove, wooden and silicone cooking utensils, salt, pepper, sugar, oil, snacks, paper towels, foil, cling wrap, plastic bags for food storage, dish soap, sponge, dish cloths, & fire extinguisher. There are also dry goods such as oatmeal available for guests who wish to make breakfast in the morning. Guests are welcome to use any and all food and condiments they find in the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry during their stay. (Please just don’t take the whole package home with you. Save them for the next guest if you don’t use it all during your stay). Bathroom includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath towels, hand towels, and makeup remover wipes. For families traveling with kids, we have a playground in the backyard with swings and slides. The yard is part of the shared space with patio furniture and an Australian Shepherd that can sometimes be found lounging outside. Guest access The area has free parking. Private parking is available to the left of the driveway (on the west side of the main house in front of the horizontal fence), accessible from the alley. The alley is easy to find from either end of the street. For additional or larger vehicles such as RVs or trailers, parking is available in front of the house too.
