Welcome to "Flight Deck", a cozy and unique studio apartment overlooking the Princess Juliana International Airport & runway and beautiful Simpson Bay Beach. This unit is in a prime location, as it is just a 5 minute walk to the heart of Maho Village, which is full of shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, casinos, and the world famous Maho Beach, where thrill-seekers can stand just feet below planes as they land and experience the thrilling sensation of the jet blast of planes taking off. The space Newly constructed in 2020, this unit is located in The Emerald complex. This modern apartment has FREE Wi-Fi and is equipped with the basic necessities you need for a comfortable stay such as a kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, & utensils, desk, dinette set, and a queen bed. Stream TV shows and movies through your favorite app on the smart TV (guests must login to their own streaming service accounts). A balcony overlooking the airport and Simpson Bay Beach is the perfect place for plane-spotting, viewing yachts and cruise ships as they pass by, or just taking in the surrounding scenery. The property contains a pool, barbecue/patio area, fitness center, volleyball court, laundry room, common space lounge areas and nightly security. Not only is this property just a 5 minute walk to the center of Maho, which is home to some of the island's best entertainment and nightlife, but it is also a 5 minute walk to the Mullet Bay Golf Course and only a 10 minute walk to the gorgeous Mullet Bay Beach, which is known as being one of the best beaches on the island. The property is also only a 5 minute drive to the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, making it an ideal spot for students or visitors. Guest access The unit is located on the 4th floor and can be accessed via an elevator or stairs. All property amenities are available to guests. Plenty of free parking is available either on the street just outside of the building or across the street in a dedicated parking lot. Guests can check themselves in and out with a key lock box just outside of the unit. Other things to note Please note the electrical receptacles are 110v and the same type of outlet as the US. This is standard in Sint Maarten, the Dutch side of the island. If you require 220v power outlets, similar to European outlets, you will need a power adapter and converter. In addition there is no safe or iron available. There is a crib (Pack n Play) available for guests with infants or small children.
